Walk reel mower with pivotal shield
A walk reel mower has a pivotal rear traction drum that can be selectively disposed in two different mowing positions that allow a single mower to cut grass on golf course greens as well as tee boxes with no degradation in cutting or power performance. The reel cutting unit has a pivotal rear shield to allow the rear shield to be pivotally adjusted to maintain its radial spacing relative to the orbit of the reel at a desired amount as the reel diameter decreases due to wear.

Gang Mower with Reel Mower Cutting Units
A mower for turf or lawn includes a frame for use on a tractor, or to form a structure of a trailer, and a plurality of cutting units, at least six, generally disposed side by side, each cutting unit including at least one roller for rolling on the ground. The mower includes lift means linking the cutting units to the frame and configured for articulating the cutting units between a mowing position and a non-mowing position. In the mowing position, the lift means are configured for pressing the cutting units against the ground in order to distribute, at least partially, the mower's weight on the ground via the rollers of the cutting units. The mower includes lateral articulated beams linking the cutting units. The beams are foldable inwardly and forwardly.

PLANT VINE CHOPPER ASSEMBLY
A plant vine chopper rotor drum assembly is provided for use in chopping machines. The rotor drum assembly has a plurality of rotor rings each ring having a plurality of angled blades that effectively cooperate with each other to guard each blade and the drum against the wrapping of clogging fibrous strands and other clogging material around the drum. The chopper rotor drum assembly incorporates a plurality of rotor rings spaced along and encircling and attached to a main drum tube and distributed in a cutting zone along and surrounding the longitudinal rotational axis of the drum tube with each rotor ring having a pair or a plurality of pairs of cutting blades attached to respective alternately angled mounting tabs that alternate to the left and to the right to the general plane of the rotor ring.

APPARATUS AND METHOD WITH DYNAMIC INTERFACE FOR MECHANICAL, SELECTIVE WEED CONTROL IN CROPS INCLUDING TURFGRASSES
An apparatus comprising a blade carrier rotatably attached to the apparatus and having a first longitudinal axis and comprising blades disposed around the first longitudinal axis, extending radially therefrom and defining a first cylindrical diameter; a brush rotatably attached to the apparatus and having a second longitudinal axis, the brush further comprising a plurality of bristles extending outwardly from the second longitudinal axis and defining a second cylindrical diameter, the brush being attached to the apparatus such that the second longitudinal axis is substantially parallel to the first longitudinal axis and; and an elevation device for maintaining the blade carrier and brush at a height over a surface to engage desirable and undesirable plants. The blades may be discs or helical blades. The brush and blade carrier are also arranged such that the bristles of the brush engage the blades of the blade carrier

GANG MOWER WITH CUTTING UNITS HAVING SUSPENSIONS INCOPORATING TUNED MASS DAMPERS
A mower includes a plurality of grass cutting units, either reel or rotary, arranged in a gang configuration. Each cutting unit is connected to the mower by a separate suspension that includes a lift and lower portion for lifting and lowering the cutting unit out of and into contact with the ground, respectively. The suspension includes a ground contour following portion permitting the cutting unit to have one or more degrees of freedom relative to the lift and lower portion to independently follow the ground contours the cutting unit encounters. A tuned mass damper is installed in the ground contour following portion of the suspension or is adjacent to a connection between the ground contour following portion and the lift and lower portion for damping undesired vertical bobbing of the cutting unit.
