An image processing apparatus includes a communication unit and a controller. The communication unit receives first identification information via wireless communication from a terminal that has received the first identification information. The first identification information indicates a first storage location for image information in another apparatus. A controller transmits the image information to the first storage location indicated by the first identification information in a case where the communication unit has received the first identification information from the terminal.

There is provided an information processing apparatus, and a method to improve operability of the information processing apparatus when a user manages still image files in a case where a still image is extracted from a moving image file and stored as a still image file. In information processing apparatus and the method, a moving image file is selected from a plurality of moving image files and is reproduced, and a folder corresponding to the selected moving image file is created. A still image file is generated based on a video frame extracted from the moving image file being reproduced, and the generated still image file is stored into the created folder in association with the folder. When another moving image file is selected, another folder is newly created, and a still image file generated from the other moving image file being reproduced is stored into the other folder.

A method and an apparatus arranged to obtain raw image data acquired by an image sensor to be applied in an image processing algorithm; adjust, in the processor miming the image processing algorithm, logical dimensions of the image such that logical width of the image is doubled and logical height of the image is halved; adjust the image processing algorithm to take into account the adjusted logical dimensions of the image; and apply the image processing algorithm with the adjusted logical dimensions of the image.

The apparatus includes circuitry configured to generate intermediate data of a document in response to receiving a request for outputting the document; query the information management system for confidential information relevant to the document; delete the confidential information contained in the intermediate data, the confidential information being determined based on a result of the query from the information management system; and issue an output request for performing output processing based on the intermediate data having the confidential information deleted.

An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: as a first job, perform connection to an external server that is enable to be connected from the information processing apparatus, instruct the external server to execute processing by designating shared information held in a storage device that is enable to be shared by plural jobs, hold the designated shared information in a primary storage section, and release a resource used in the first job, as a second job different from the first job, acquire a result of the processing by the external server, and execute processing using the shared information designated in the first job and held in the primary storage section, and change the shared information held in the storage device and not changing the shared information held in the primary storage section in a case where an operation of changing the shared information is performed between execution of the first job and start of the second job.

An image processing apparatus equipped with a scanner has a function of transmitting image data generated using the scanner to a folder. The image processing apparatus displays a screen including a display area for displaying information indicating a transmission destination of the image data and an area for receiving an instruction to transmit the image data to the transmission destination. In a case where a folder path specified as the transmission destination and having folder names arranged in order from an upper hierarchy to a target folder does not fit within the display area, the folder path is displayed in the display area in a format in which a beginning part of the folder path is omitted.

An information processing system includes a management unit configured to manage files which are accessible to a user of at least one information processing apparatus from among a plurality of information processing apparatuses that communicate with each other via a network that enable users to perform communication, a display unit configured to display, on a screen, a list of files including a file included in the files managed by the management unit and identified based on access time of the file, and an output unit configured to output information for printing a file selected by a user from among the list of files displayed by the display unit.
