An image processing system includes a control apparatus and an image processing apparatus to which the control apparatus is connected and that accesses a network via the control apparatus, wherein remote maintenance by an information processing apparatus is performed via the network. The image processing apparatus connects to a server apparatus that relays communication between the control apparatus and the information processing apparatus. The control apparatus notifies the image processing apparatus that it will restart in accordance with a restart instruction from the information processing apparatus which is connected to the control apparatus via the server apparatus and which maintains the control apparatus remotely, the restart being instructed by the information processing apparatus to the control apparatus while the remote maintenance of the control apparatus is continuing, and instructs the image processing apparatus to reconnect to the server apparatus, in accordance with completion of the restart of the control apparatus.

Embodiments of the present invention provide for a method, system, and computer program for increasing the success of a facsimile transmission. In an embodiment of the invention, the method includes writing a record to a database during a failed attempt at transmitting a fax image by the fax server, receiving each of a new fax image to be transmitted to a recipient, a specified fax sender, and also at least a portion of a phone number, and retrieving a current selected configuration stored for the specified fax sender. The method further includes querying the database to determine whether the current selected configuration of the specified fax sender matches a record in the database, and if a match is found, establishing that a prior facsimile transmitted by the specified fax sender was unsuccessful, but on condition that no match is found, transmitting the new fax image by the fax server.

It is made possible to print an image stored in an image processing apparatus by a printing apparatus without requiring a complicated operation. By a printing apparatus operating as a first access point by fixed authentication information, in the case where the communication is controlled in a first mode for performing a wireless LAN connection with an image processing apparatus storing the fixed authentication information, a beacon signal including a specific SSID included in the fixed authentication information is transmitted, and in the case where the image processing apparatus receives printing instructions, a connection without intervention of a second access point different from the printing apparatus and the image processing apparatus is established with the printing apparatus by using the fixed authentication information and an image to be printed is transmitted to the printing apparatus on a condition that a beacon signal including the specific SSID is detected.

There is provided a server apparatus including a storage unit configured to store setting information used by a client apparatus to operate, a reception unit configured to receive, from a first client apparatus, a deletion request for deleting a part of the setting information from among the setting information stored in the storage unit, a notification unit configured to notify a second client apparatus of update information indicating that the part of the setting information for which the deletion request has been made is deleted, and a control unit configured to perform control in such a manner that the update information remains to be stored in the storage unit until a predetermined condition is satisfied after the deletion request is received, and is deleted from the storage unit in accordance with a satisfaction of the predetermined condition.
