A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a computer program readable by a computer of a communication apparatus, the computer program causing the communication apparatus to: when first trigger information for establishing first wireless connection is received, supply a first connection instruction to a first wireless interface and store device information into a memory; when second trigger information is received, supply a second connection instruction to the first wireless interface; and in a specific case where it is not possible to re-establish first wireless connection with the external apparatus, display, on a display, display information for re-establishing the first wireless connection with the external apparatus. The display information includes first display information in case the device information is first device information, and second display information in case the device information is second device information.

According to the present invention, when a terminal apparatus is brought close to a printing apparatus serving as a processing apparatus, the terminal apparatus uses its own NFC unit to acquire, from the printing apparatus, information for communicating with each of one or more network connection units provided in the printing apparatus. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the external device, and prints an image based on the selected image data. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed by a first communication system method or a second communication system method. The first instruction-set causes, when executed by the controller, the mobile terminal to receive a user operation to designate a designated second instruction-set through the input interface, and determine whether the memory stores designated device information including an operation ID identifying a designatable operation. When the designated device information is not stored in a memory, the mobile terminal searches for an image processing device capable of executing the designatable operation, receives a user operation to designate the designated device, stores designated device information in the memory, starts the designated program, obtains the operation ID of the designatable operation from the designated program, and transmits first instruction information to the designated device. The first instruction information is information causing the image processing device to execute the designatable operation identified by the operation ID as obtained.

An information processing apparatus comprises: a communication unit which performs short-range wireless communication with an external apparatus configured to provide a predetermined function; a first determination unit which determines, based on information obtained from the external apparatus by the communication unit, whether to perform authentication processing in order to utilize the predetermined function of the external apparatus; and an authentication unit which performs the authentication processing if the first determination unit determines to perform the authentication processing.

An image forming apparatus according to an embodiment includes: a communicator; an image former; a storage; a packet data analyzer; and a controller which controls the communicator, the image former, the storage, and the packet data analyzer. When the communicator receives packet data of a print protocol from a user terminal, the controller causes the packet data analyzer to analyze the packet data and specify the type of operating system of the user terminal, decides on a print operation based on the print protocol associated with the operating system, and then causes the image former to form an image that the communicator has received from the user terminal.

In an example, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium encoded with instructions that, when executed by a processor of a first electronic device, cause the processor to receive a request to execute an application that enables communication with a second electronic device. Further, the processor may cause a camera to output a view of a user interface of the second electronic device on a display panel via executing the application. Furthermore, the processor may receive a touch input to select a control associated with the user interface via the display panel and determine input data corresponding to the touch input. Further, the processor may transmit the input data to the second electronic device to perform an action on the second electronic device.

An information processing apparatus that communicates with an image processing apparatus and provides a chat service includes a communication unit that receives image data generated by the image processing apparatus reading an image on a document, an acquisition unit that acquires information for identifying a storage location where the received image data is to be stored, a storage unit that stores the received image data in the storage location based on the acquired information, and a control unit that controls the acquired information to be displayed in a talk room of the chat service.
