Printer driver separately applying watermark and information
The present invention provides a printer responsive to commands from printer driver software. The printer driver software is characterized by being responsive to two types of input data. One of the types includes text data, and the other of the types includes watermark data. The two types of data are separately applied to printer driver software, rather than integrated together prior to application to the printer driver software.
Predetermined-area management system, communication method, and computer program product
A predetermined-area management system is configured to communicate with a communication terminal. The predetermined-area management system includes: a storage unit that stores image identification information for identifying image data and predetermined-area information for identifying a predetermined area in the image data in association with each other; a receiving unit that receives image identification information that is transmitted from the communication terminal; an extraction unit that searches the storage unit by using the image identification information received by the receiving unit so as to extract associated predetermined-area information; and a transmitting unit that transmits, to the communication terminal, the predetermined-area information extracted by the extraction unit.
Photo survey using smart device with camera
Disclosed is an image capturing device for use in photo surveys, wherein said image capturing device comprises: a camera unit for capturing images; a processing unit for controlling said camera unit; a first shutter release button for activating said camera unit to capture an image of a motive; and a second shutter release button for activating said camera unit to capture an image of a motive. The processing unit, when either said first shutter release button or said second shutter release button is activated, is configured to control said camera unit to capture an image of a motive, and generate an opinion variable associated with said captured image, wherein said opinion variable is for indicating the opinion of a user towards said motive, and wherein said opinion variable is generated dependent on the used shutter release button.
ASSISTED 3D SCENE COMPARISON
Methods and systems for inspection, safety assurance, tracking, and/or as-built comparison use an imaging tool to acquire imaging data of a scene. The imaging data is processed to create a three-dimensional representation of the scene. Radio frequency (RF) data is received from an RF tag using an RF reader. The RF tag is associated with an object within the scene. The object in the three-dimensional representation of the scene is identified based on the RF data and compared to a model of the object.
Optimal printing of template components on a fabric substrate
Optimal template component printing includes reading from a pool, a set of printable pieces, each corresponding to a pattern for a respective garment, and each having known dimensions. A starting point is located on a section of a fabric substrate onto which the pieces are to be printed. Different piece combinations are then computed for different subsets of the pieces in the set for which a sum of the known dimensions of the pieces of the subset is less than or equal to a constraining dimension of the fabric substrate as measured from the starting point. A combination is selected which minimizes a difference between the constraining dimension and the sum and a printer is directed to print the pieces of the selected combination onto the fabric substrate. Finally, the pieces of the selected combination are removed from the pool and the process repeats for remaining pieces in the pool.
Methods and systems for dynamically modifying metadata while serving images
Disclosed herein are methods and systems for dynamically serving image metadata. The method includes receiving, at an image service system from a client system, a request for obtaining an image. The image is associated with inherent metadata. The method includes serving, by the image service system, the image to the client system in response to the request for obtaining the image. While serving the image to the client system, the method includes modifying, by the image service system, the inherent metadata associated with the image that is served to the client system in accordance with a predetermined criterion. The inherent metadata of the image stored by the image service system is not modified and the predetermined criterion is based on a context associated with the request of the image.
