Methods, apparatuses, and systems for batch print voiding
Various methods and systems for a printer having verifiers are disclosed herein. Such methods provide for voiding a printed media in a batch printing run. The methods further correspond to identifying the printed media that is printed as part of the batch printing run as a failed media in an instance an assigned grade fails to satisfy a predetermined threshold, marking the printed media as a failed printed media, determining one or more subsequently printed media that were printed after the failed printed media, and reprinting the printed failed media in a next available media after the one or more subsequently printed media.
Electronic apparatus, program, and image processing method for aggregate printing using a target range
An electronic apparatus includes a reading unit, a processing unit, and a printing unit. The reading unit scans a reading target and acquires a plurality of scanned images. The processing unit performs processing to specify an aggregation target range which is a target of aggregate printing, of the plurality of scanned images, based on the plurality of scanned images. The printing unit aggregate-prints the scanned images specified as the aggregation target range, of the plurality of scanned images.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a processor configured to create a preview image of an image created by executing a job; store image data of the created preview image in a memory; create an information code representing a storage area of the memory where the image data is stored; and display the information code created by the processor on a display.
IMAGE OUTPUT DEVICE, NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM STORING CONTROL PROGRAM AND CONTROL METHOD OF IMAGE OUTPUT DEVICE
An image output device includes a storage and outputs image data stored the storage. The image output device includes a detector, an output controller, and an eraser. The detector detects whether or not specific image information is included in the image data. The output controller allows an output of the image data when the image data does not include the specific image information., and disallows the output of the image data when the image data includes the specific image information. The eraser erases the image data from the storage when the specific image information is included in the image data.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR COMPUTERIZED AUTHENTICATION OF ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS
A computerized method for authenticating documents having VIZ sections, the method comprising capturing an image of a document to be authenticated from a scanner and enhancing the captured image, and using a processor for identifying and cropping a VIZ section in the image.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing apparatus includes a receiving unit configured to receive, from a print server that provides a logical printer associated with the printing apparatus, a print job associated with the logical printer, a print unit configured to perform printing based on the print job, and a display control unit configured to electronically display, on a display device of the printing apparatus, a two-dimensional code obtained by encoding identification information allocated to the logical printer by the print server.
Detecting conflicts between multiple different encoded signals within imagery
Various image processing arrangements are detailed for detecting mis-marking of product packaging artwork with two conflicting steganographically-encoded product identifiers. Some embodiments concern detection in a pre-press or test-print quality assurance stage. Others concern detection post-press. All help serve to assure accurate product identification by point of sale scanners. A great number of other features and arrangements are also detailed.
Printing apparatus, method of controlling printing apparatus, and storage medium for setting information to be printed
A printing apparatus capable of adding number information differing from copy set to copy set, to a printing target image includes a judging unit configured to judge whether to add user information indicating a current user to a printing target image, and a determination unit configured to determine a position to which the number information is to be added, based on a result of the judgment performed by the judging unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image processing apparatus may include a processor including a processing unit, a creating unit, and an output unit. The processing unit stores image data created by executing a job in a storage unit. The creating unit creates an information code representing information indicating a storage area of the storage unit in which the image data is stored. The output unit displays the information code created by the creating unit on a display unit.
