Systems and methods for facilitating determining contextual and semantic meaning from an image scan
Disclosed herein is a system for facilitating determining contextual and semantic meaning from an image scan. The system may include a communication device configured for receiving a plurality of images from at least one source device, receiving an image scan from at least one user device and transmitting an interpretability notification to the at least one user device. Further, the system may include a processing device configured for analyzing the plurality of images, identifying an image metadata based on the analyzing, analyzing the image scan, identifying an image scan metadata based on the analyzing of the image scan, comparing the image scan metadata and the image metadata, determining an interpretability of the image scan based on the comparing, and generating the interpretability notification based on the determining.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR OBTAINING CHARACTER STRING
Correction content is made learnable based on a correction operation performed by a user on an attribute setting screen in setting attribute information, such as a filename, based on a character string obtained by character recognition processing on a scan image.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS THAT ADD MODIFICATION HISTORY TO MODIFIED SOURCE IMAGE, ACCORDING TO MODIFICATION MADE
An information processing apparatus includes an image reading device, a control device, and an input device. The image reading device reads a source document and generates image data. The control device acts as a controller that generates an editable electronic file from the image data. The input device is to be used by a user to input an instruction. The controller adds, upon receipt of a modification of the source image represented by the electronic file, through the input device, a modification history based on the modification made, to the modified source image.
System, information processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium
Computer readable instructions, when executed by a processor, may cause an information processing apparatus to receive, from an operation apparatus, a reading instruction for instructing an image reading apparatus to execute a reading operation and specific service identification information. The computer readable instructions may cause the information processing apparatus to acquire the setting information associated with the specific service identification information from the memory, and transmit the acquired setting information to the operation apparatus. The computer readable instructions may cause the information processing apparatus to receive specific setting information from the operation apparatus, and transmit the specific setting information to a particular image reading apparatus for reading image data in the particular image reading apparatus. The computer readable instructions may cause the information processing apparatus to receive image data from the particular image reading apparatus, and transmit the image data to the service providing apparatus.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, SETTING SYSTEM THEREFOR, SETTING METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM HAVING PROGRAM STORED THEREON
According to an embodiment, a worker selects one of destination places displayed on a screen of a display by means of an operator. Information regarding the selected destination place is sent to a setting processor of a controller. The setting processor of the controller acquires, from among pieces of setting information stored in a storage, the setting information according to the selected destination place information. The setting processor of the controller then performs setting processing for an image forming apparatus, in accordance with the setting information acquired.
METHOD FOR DELETING DATA FILES IN AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device, such as a digital camera, includes a deletion mode whereby a camera/electronic device user can delete captured images or data files that have already been transferred in order to make room in the electronic device or digital camera memory for capturing further images. In one embodiment, a digital camera keeps track of which images have already been transferred to an external storage device and presents those to the user as potential images to be deleted. In another embodiment, the user is presented with a delete all transferred images which when selected deletes all the captured images that have already been transferred. In still another embodiment, deletion criteria are used to prioritize which images are deleted first.
Image processing apparatus, control method therefor, and storage medium
In a case where the name of the address book to be imported is a default name, the name of a stored address book is set as the name of the address book to be imported. A control method for an image processing apparatus includes storing, in a storage, an address book, importing an address book from an external apparatus, determining whether a name of an address book imported by the importing is a default name or not, and in a case where the name of the address book imported by the importing is a default name, setting a name of an address book stored in the storage as the name of the address book to be imported by the importing.
Image capture and identification system and process
A computing platform that analyzes a captured video stream to identify a document depicted in the video stream, validates identification information corresponding to the document to display an information address associated with the document, and that initiates a transaction based on the validation of the identification information associated with the document.

Image display device, image list display method, and image list display program
To display an image list stored in a memory with good visibility and to display the image list at a high speed, an image display device reads an image file in an Exif format, extracts a thumbnail image included in the image file in the Exif format, and generates a displayed image having a predetermined size and a square shape, thus displaying it in the image list. It is possible to improve visibility in displaying the image file aligning square-shaped displayed image having the same size while precluding blanks. It is possible to perform high-speed processing in producing an image list using thumbnail images included in image files in the Exif format.
