Rotatable wire termination facility
An electrical device can have an associated wiring box for connecting the electrical device to an external electrical supply, for example to utility power. The wiring box can include an opening suitable for worker access, so that a worker can connect or disconnect the electrical device from electrical power. Wiring connectors can be rotatably mounted in the wiring box for making the electrical connection. The wiring connectors can be rotated to one orientation to enhance worker access through the opening, for example during installation, and to another orientation for long-term operation.
PATCH PANEL ASSEMBLY
A patch panel assembly, bezel and modular jacks are disclosed which allow modular jacks to be positioned closer together to increase patch panel density. In particular the modular jacks are equipped with features which engage openings which are offset, allowing for the modular jacks to be positioned closer together, in particular when arranged in adjacent parallel rows.
Adjustable cable manager
A cable manager includes a first portion and a second portion that cooperate to retain at least one cable. The first portion of certain types of cable managers is configured to be held in one or more rotationally fixed positions relative to the second portion. For example, the second portion may include at least one retaining arm that extends at least partially over a cable cradle of the first portion when the second portion is rotated to a closed position and that allows access to the cable cradle when rotated to an open position. The first portion of certain types of cable managers is configured to be held in one of a plurality of axially fixed positions relative to the second portion to accommodate cables of different diameters.
ADJUSTABLE SWINGING BRACKET
A universal cable bracket that enables one or more cables to be secured to a telecommunications chassis accommodates cables of various sizes and styles. The cable bracket is configured to be mounted in one of multiple orientations relative to the chassis. One or more fasteners can be inserted through apertures in the bracket and a chassis mounting surface to secure the bracket into the desired orientation. Cables or fanout arrangements can be secured to a platform of the bracket via cable ties or other windings.
Patch panel with extension cable storage
A patch panel, including a front portion for accommodating a plurality of front side ports, and a back portion for accommodating one or more back side ports and for storing one or more extension cables; and one or more inner cables for connecting at least one of the front side ports to at least one of the back side ports, wherein the patch panel is configured such that when the patch panel is placed in a rack, the front side ports are proximate a first side of the rack, and the back side ports are proximate a second side of the rack, the first side of the rack and the second side of the rack being opposite, or substantially opposite, one another.
