The method includes: after an ONU performs an initialization, the ONU creates a PTP management entity; the ONU receives a PTP management entity attribute sent by an OLT and set by the OLT; and the ONU parses the PTP management entity attribute sent by the OLT and sets a corresponding PTP service according to the PTP management entity attribute. The present disclosure further discloses an ONU, an OLT and a system corresponding to the method.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING PHOTONIC FRAME
An apparatus and method for generating a photonic frame from input packet data based on a wavelength, a space and a time and for transmitting an optical signal based on a structure of the photonic frame. The apparatus includes a classifier configured to classify input packet signals based on destination information of the packet signals, and a processor configured to generate a first frame by converting each of the classified packet signals to a photonic frame based on at least one of wavelength information and port information available for each of the packet signals.
Link resource transmission method and apparatus
Embodiments of this application provide a link resource transmission method and apparatus. The method includes the following steps. A first node floods first control routing information, where the first control routing information includes an identifier of an area in which the first node is located. A second node floods second control routing information, where the second control routing information includes an identifier of an area in which the second node is located. The first node determines, through comparison, whether the identifier of the area in which the first node is located is consistent with the identifier of the area in which the second node is located. When the identifier of the area in which the first node is located is consistent with the identifier of the area in which the second node is located, the first node transmits link data information of the first node to the second node.
Method, system and device for optical network termination configuration
A method for optical network termination (ONT) configuration is provided. The method includes: obtaining, by an optical line terminal (OLT), service types supported by an ONT and management methods available for each of the service types; and negotiating, by the OLT, with the ONT according to the management methods available for each of the service types, so as to determine a management method to be adopted for each of the service types, and configuring the ONT according to the determined management method.
Ranging Method and Registration Method for Optical Network, OLT, ONU, and Optical Network System
The present disclosure provides a ranging method and a registration method for an optical network, an Optical Line Terminal (OLT), an Optical Network Unit (ONU), and an optical network system. An OLT groups ONUs controlled by the OLT according to receiving optical power values of the ONUs. The OLT allocates corresponding uplink bandwidths to the ONUs in different groups, the uplink bandwidths being used to send registration information by the ONUs to be registered.
POWER SAVING MECHANISMS FOR HIGH SPEED PASSIVE OPTICAL NETWORK
A method of communication includes notify, by an optical line terminal (OLT), an optical network unit (ONU) a first time period assigned to a first power saving operation and a second time period assigned to a second power saving operation, and perform, by the OLT, the second power saving operation for a receiver of the OLT during the second time period and the first power saving operation for a transmitter of the OLT during the first time period.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRIGGERING vOMCI FUNCTION FROM OLT TO SEND OMCI MESSAGES
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for triggering vOMCI function from OLT to send OMCI messages. the method comprises: generating a content message that needs to be sent to ONU based on OMCI protocol; obtaining an ONU list corresponding to the content message, and sending the content message and the ONU list to vOLTMF or vOMCI function deployed in a cloud server; receiving an OMCI message sent by the vOMCI function, and sending the OMCI message to corresponding ONU, wherein the OMCI message is generated by the vOMCI function according to the content message. This disclosure provides a mechanism for triggering vOMCI function from OLT to send OMCI messages to ONU for the content messages that are generated in the OLT and need to be sent to the ONU based on the OMCI protocol.
