When executed by the at least one processor, the instructions cause the at least one processor to transmit a first data packet configured to initiate actuation of the barrier operator on a first channel and transmit the first data packet on a second channel. The transmission on the first channel may be performed in response to a first actuation of the actuator and the transmission on the second channel may be performed in response to a second actuation of the actuator. Alternatively, both transmissions may be performed in response to a single actuation of the actuator but switching from the first channel to the second channel may be performed in response to a passive input signal.
