TRANSMISSION APPARATUS, TRANSMISSION METHOD, RECEPTION APPARATUS, AND RECEPTION METHOD

There is provided a transmission signal to enable tactile presentation at more positions than the number of channels of a tactile vibration signal that can be transmitted. The transmission signal includes audio signals of a predetermined number of channels and tactile presentation signals of a predetermined number of channels and to which metadata designating the tactile presentation position targeted by each of the tactile presentation signals of the predetermined number of channels is added is generated. The transmission signal is transmitted to a reception side via a predetermined transmission path. For example, the metadata is dynamically changed to dynamically change the tactile presentation position targeted by each of the tactile presentation signals of the predetermined number of channels.

A headphone includes: a housing; a first driver unit disposed in the housing; a partition wall dividing an internal space of the housing into a first space and a second space, the first space containing the first driver unit; a second driver unit attached to the partition wall; and an acoustic adjustment circuit configured to receive a first signal to be input to the first driver unit and generate a second signal to be input to the second driver unit based on the first signal.

SOUND AMPLIFICATION STRUCTURE AND BUILDING FOUNDATION STRUCTURE
20230235525 · 2023-07-27 ·

A sound amplification structure includes a sound path that is formed by an underfloor foundation of a building and a concrete peripheral wall formed by standing up approximately vertically from the underfloor foundation. One end of the sound path (a speaker unit communication section) is able to communicate with a floor speaker unit placed in a room of the building. A width of the sound path widens from the one end toward other end of the sound path. The other end of the sound path (an output unit) is able to output sounds that are emitted from the floor speaker unit and amplified through the sound path. A length of the sound path is 4 m or longer. Preferably, the sound path is U-shaped, Z-shaped, or a zig-zag shaped. The concrete peripheral wall preferably doubles as a building foundation structure.

Portable loudspeaker systems

A loudspeaker system includes a subwoofer. The subwoofer includes a housing having a plurality of walls which together define an acoustic cavity. The plurality of walls includes a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall, a bottom wall, and a plurality of sidewalls extending between the top and bottom walls and between the front and rear walls. A first transducer mounted to the front wall of the housing. The first transducer includes a diaphragm having a major axis and a minor axis. The major axis has a fist end proximate the bottom wall and an opposite, second end proximate the top wall, such that the major axis is arranged vertical, relative to ground when the subwoofer is rested on its bottom wall. The top wall has a handle such that the loudspeaker can be carried with the major axis arranged vertical to ground.
