INTEGRATED BONE CONDUCTION SOUND GENERATING DEVICE AND METHOD
Provided in the present disclosure are an integrated bone conduction sound generating device and method. The device includes a controller, a sound generating structure and a functional structure, and the three components are integrated together. The functional structure can touch the oral cavity and/or the teeth of the human body, and after the controller drives the sound generating structure to generate a vibration signal, the functional structure can transmit the vibration signal to the auditory system of the human body through the oral cavity and/or the teeth of the human body.
SPEAKER SYSTEM WITH ASYMMETRICAL COVERAGE HORN
A speaker system is provided with a housing adapted to mount to a support. A driver is supported by the housing and arranged to project sound about a first axis extending at an offset angle relative to a longitudinal axis extending from the housing. A waveguide extends from the driver to define a cavity extending along the first axis. The waveguide includes a first segment formed at a first angle relative to the longitudinal axis, and a second segment formed at a second angle relative to the longitudinal axis, wherein the second segment is arranged opposite the first segment and the second angle is greater than the first angle to collectively provide an asymmetrical sound pattern in a first plane.

HORN-LOADED LOUDSPEAKER
According to an aspect of the disclosure, a loudspeaker includes an enclosure having a front sidewall that is disposed between a first acoustic opening and a second acoustic opening. The loudspeaker further includes a motorboard comprising a first opening arranged along a plane and a second opening arranged along the plane, an active driver, and a passive component. The active driver is arranged concentric to the first opening to transmit sound waves directly through the first opening toward the front sidewall. In addition, the passive component is arranged concentric to the second opening to transmit sound waves directly through the second opening toward the front sidewall.

DETECTION OF ATTACHMENT PROBLEM OF APPARATUS BEING WORN BY USER
Provided is to prevent a false determination due to an attachment condition of an apparatus that transmits and receives an acoustic signal, and perform accurate personal authentication. A personal authentication device includes: a personal authentication means that authenticates an individual by using first information at least including an acoustic characteristic calculated from an acoustic signal propagating through the head of the user, which is detected by an apparatus being attached on a head of a user for transmitting and receiving the acoustic signal, and a feature amount extracted from the acoustic characteristic; an attachment trouble rule storage means that stores an attachment trouble rule for detecting an attachment trouble with the apparatus; and an attachment trouble detection means that detects a trouble with an attachment state of the apparatus when the first information satisfies the attachment trouble rule.

Reflecting sound from acoustically reflective video screen
In an audiovisual system, in which video is displayed on a screen that does not permit sound to pass through the screen, such as a light emitting diode panel, a high-frequency speaker positioned above an audience seating area can direct sound toward the screen, so that the screen can reflect the sound toward the audience seating area. The high-frequency speaker can be used with one or more low-frequency speakers positioned at or near the height of the audience seating area. The low-frequency and high-frequency sounds can appear to originate from close to the same height, thereby creating a realistic audio image at the audience seating area. A spectral filter can negate the spectral effects of propagation to and reflection from the screen. Suitable time delays can synchronize the high-frequency sound with the low-frequency sound and with video displayed on the screen.
