ASYMMETRY SOUND ABSORBING SYSTEM VIA SHUNTED SPEAKERS
Embodiments for one-way sound absorbing systems are described herein. In one example, a sound absorbing system includes a waveguide having open ends for receiving an incoming acoustic wave and wall portions defining a first port and a second port. A first electroacoustic absorber is mounted to the first port and is electrically connected to a shunting circuit, while a second electroacoustic absorber is mounted to the second port and is electrically connected to an open circuit. The sound absorption of the system is directional dependent.

Acoustic horn and speaker module
A acoustic horn includes an input port configured to acoustically couple with a front cavity of a loudspeaker, a pair of output ports leading to exterior of the horn, and a pair of channels each communicating the input port with a corresponding output port. Each of the channels has a cross section of which the area increases gradually in a direction from the input port to a corresponding output port and the areas of the cross sections of the channels in the same plane are substantially equal to each other such that the channels are acoustical symmetrical, which improves the high-frequency performance the sound waves and reduces distortion of the sound waves at low frequencies.

Omnidirectional speaker with an inverted dome diaphragm and asymmetric vertical directivity response
A compression driver for an omnidirectional loudspeaker having an inverted dome diaphragm, a phasing plug having a top portion facing a convex surface of the inverted dome diaphragm and a plurality of concentric apertures that cooperate with the convex surface of the inverted dome diaphragm. Each aperture has a predetermined radial width and is spaced a predetermined concentric distance from an adjacent aperture converging at an exit of the phasing plug. The compression driver has a dispersion control assembly mounted to the bottom portion of the phasing plug along the central axis.
SYSTEM FOR AEROSPACE ACOUSTIC TESTING
A modular acoustic system for use to perform acoustic testing on an object across an entire audible spectrum with enhanced efficiency and acoustic capabilities is provided. The acoustic system includes an acoustic device having a housing to store a horn assembly with a plurality of transducers, an amplification and power distribution device with an amplifier electrically coupled to the horn assembly of the acoustic device, and a controller operably connected to the amplification and power distribution device. The controller is designed to transmit a plurality of noise signals over a network to the amplifier of the amplification and power distribution device to enable the plurality of transducers of the acoustic device to generate a plurality of acoustic waves across the entire audible spectrum.
