ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCER AND DISPLAY APPARATUS

An electroacoustic transducer includes: a diaphragm; a frame that is disposed around the diaphragm so as to surround the diaphragm; an edge that closes a space between the diaphragm and the frame in a manner of forming a membrane so as to connect the diaphragm and the frame; a base body that supports the frame and has a through sound output hole in front of the diaphragm; a magnet that is attached to the frame; and a voice coil body that is attached to the diaphragm. The frame has an annular first fitting portion that is disposed around the diaphragm so as to surround the diaphragm. The base body has a second fitting portion that fits with the first fitting portion. The electroacoustic transducer further includes a sealing member that is made of a thermoplastic substance and seals a space between the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion fitted with each other.

A speaker assembly with a readily replaceable cone that is mounted to a depression 24 within a peripheral channel 22. The cone 30 is kept in place with a ring 40 that coacts with the cone 30 at a peripheral step 35 located a predetermined distance from the cone's distal end 32a. Fastening members 50 keep the ring 40 secured to basket assembly 20 reducing the performance fatigue of cone 30.

MEMS loudspeaker having an actuator structure and a diaphragm spaced apart therefrom

A MEMS loudspeaker for generating sound waves in the audible wavelength spectrum includes a carrier substrate with a substrate cavity with two substrate openings formed on two opposite sides of the carrier substrate, and a diaphragm anchored in the substrate. An actuator structure is arranged in the region of one of the two substrate openings and configured to vibrate the diaphragm to generate sound waves. An intermediate cavity is formed in a space between the diaphragm and the actuator structure. A coupling element is disposed in the intermediate cavity and connects the actuator structure to the diaphragm and can vibrate with respect to the carrier substrate.

SPEAKER DIAPHRAGM, SPEAKER INCLUDING SAME, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SPEAKER DIAPHRAGM

A speaker diaphragm includes a protruding dome portion formed at a center portion of the speaker diaphragm, and an annular cone portion extending from an outer peripheral edge of the dome portion in a direction inclined with respect to a protrusion direction of the dome portion. The dome portion and the cone portion are, in a seamless manner, integrally formed of a sheet material made of magnesium or magnesium alloy, and an outer peripheral end of the cone portion at least extends to a substantially identical height position to a maximum protrusion position of the dome portion. An annular step portion for attachment of a cylindrical voice coil bobbin is provided along a boundary portion between the dome portion and the cone portion.
