Ear tip including flange made of silicone foam material
Disclosed herein is an ear tip having a flange made of silicone foam, the ear tip including a central core and a flange surrounding the core. The flange is made of silicone foam, and the core is made of a material harder than the silicone foam. Before the silicone is molded, attachable films or tapes may be attached to the top and bottom surfaces of the mesh, thereby preventing burrs generated during the molding of silicone from adhering to the mesh.
HANDLING TOOL FOR HEARING AID
The invention relates to a tool for inserting an ear-tip of a hearing aid into an auditory canal of an end user. The tool comprises a first part and a second part, which are movable in relation to each other around at least one pivot joint. A cavity for receiving a holding portion of the ear-tip is provided between the first and the second part, which cavity is enlarged when a second portion of the first part and a second section of the second part are pressed together.
Adjustable Fit Hearing Aids
A hearing aid (600) includes an earpiece (602), a casing (604), and coupling member (612). The earpiece (602) is configured to sit at least partially within the user’s ear canal when worn. The casing (604) supports a sound processor (608) and a microphone (606) and is configured to sit behind a users ear and in contact with the user’s pinna when worn. The coupling member (612) couples the casing (604) to the earpiece (602). The coupling member (612) has an effective length that is adjustable to accommodate users with different ear geometries.
WEARABLE DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a wearable device. The wearable device includes a first element and a second element. The first element is configured to sense a bio-signal from a user. The second element is configured to transmit the bio-signal to a processor. The second element has a first surface and a second surface non-coplanar with the first surface. The first element is in contact with the first surface and the second surface of the second element.
METHOD OF FITTING A HEARING AID GAIN AND A HEARING AID FITTING SYSTEM
A method of fitting a hearing aid gain (100) adapted to take the vent effect into account. The invention is also directed at a hearing aid fitting system adapted to carry out said method.
Hearing aid for placement in a user's ear canal
The disclosure relates to a hearing aid for placement in an ear canal, the hearing aid having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end is inserted into the ear canal to face the tympanic membrane, the distal end is opposite. The hearing aid comprises a shell customized for the ear canal. The shell comprises an inner space configured for at least partly receiving a rechargeable battery, a charging arrangement, at least one microphone arrangement, and an integrated circuit. The hearing aid comprises a faceplate comprising an upper face and a lower face, the upper face being exposed at the distal end when the shell is placed in the user's ear canal. The faceplate is configured for closing the inner space, wherein the IC is arranged between the faceplate and the proximal end.
Audio output device for obtaining biometric data and method of operating same
An audio output device is provided. The audio output device includes a buffering member including a biometric sensor and a first terminal connected to the biometric sensor, a housing including a portion to which the buffering member is mounted, a second terminal disposed in the portion of the housing and electrically connected to the first terminal of the buffering member, and a control circuit positioned inside the housing and operatively connected to the biometric sensor, the first terminal, and the second terminal, wherein the control circuit may be configured to supply power to the biometric sensor through the second terminal if the first terminal and the second terminal are connected, and to receive at least one piece of biometric signal data obtained from the biometric sensor of the buffering member through the second terminal.
Eartip including hybrid structure
Provided is an eartip which stably fixes a position of an earphone and includes a body part that has a hollow cylinder structure corresponding to an outer circumferential surface of the earphone, having a binding groove recessed to a predetermined depth in an annular structure along an inner circumferential surface of the body part, and being made of a first material, an upper end connection part that is formed in an integrated structure with an upper end of the body part, and a lower end formation part that is formed in an integrated structure from a lower end of the umbrella structure formation part, has a hollow cylinder structure extending downward to a predetermined height while surrounding the outer circumferential surface of the body part and spaced a predetermined distance from the outer circumferential surface of the body part.
RETAINING CAP FOR A STANDARD EARPIECE AND STANDARD EARPIECE
A standard earpiece which is insertable in an ear canal in a direction of insertion has a corresponding retaining cap. The retaining cap is configured in such a way, in this case, that it equally satisfies the requirements for wearing comfort, a secure seating of the standard earpiece, and proper ventilation of the ear.
STANDARD ATTACHMENT FOR A STANDARD EARPIECE AND STANDARD EARPIECE
A standard attachment for a standard earpiece insertable into an ear canal in a direction of insertion, by which, compared to customary attachments, an improved adaptation of the corresponding standard earpiece to an ear canal is achieved, and therefore improved audio perception, and also improved wearing comfort of the respective hearing aid is ensured. The standard attachment contains a headpiece at one end and, adjoining the latter, a wing portion. The outer contour of the headpiece is configured to allow the headpiece to bear on the wall of the ear canal at several points or on several lines.
