Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method for obtaining user equipment UE information, including: obtaining identification information of UE on an access network; sending request information to a mobility management entity, where the request information includes the identification information of the UE on the access network, so as to request the mobility management entity to return the UE information according to the identification information of the UE on the access network; and obtaining the UE information returned by the mobility management entity. Correspondingly, the embodiments of the present disclosure further disclose an apparatus for obtaining user equipment UE information. According to the present disclosure, UE information of one or some user equipments may be obtained, so that a core network can accordingly control user equipment, thereby improving system processing efficiency.

In response to the session being established, the session management function unit is configured to determine data packets for the user equipment to be filtered based on the one or more content filtering settings. Absent triggering an instruction to be sent via a Gx interface, an access and mobility management function (AMF) unit is configured to select the session management function unit in compliance with the one or more content filtering settings for filtering the data packets for the user equipment.

A method of provisioning an eUICC of a mobile communication device. The method comprises sending a GSMA confirm order request from an eUICC provisioning application executing on a computer system to a SM-DP+ server, wherein the confirm order comprises an ICCID and a FQDN of a discovery server; in response to receiving a GSMA confirm order response indicating a failure of the discovery server, determining by the eUICC provisioning application that a mobile communication device associated with the ICCID is configured with an LPA application that is able to complete an alternative eSIM profile provisioning process using a scanning device to capture an activation code; generating an activation code by the eUICC provisioning application that encodes an address of the SM-DP+ server and the ICCID; and sending the activation code by the eUICC provisioning application to an email account associated with a user of the mobile communication device.
