METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REGISTERING WIRELESS DEVICE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method for registering a wireless device by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes obtaining connection information for the wireless device by scanning a recognition code of the wireless device in a first mode, transitioning to a second mode based on the connection information and receiving a connection request from the wireless device, performing a connection operation to the wireless device to transmit network access information to the wireless device, and transitioning to the first mode, and registering the wireless device upon detecting connection of the wireless device to a network in the first mode.
Non-Transitory Computer-Readable Medium Storing Computer-Readable Instructions for Terminal Device and Terminal Device
A terminal device may obtain a public key and target identification information from a communication device, search for the communication device via a wireless interface of the terminal device, based on the target identification information and a result of the search for the communication device, determine whether the communication device is to establish a wireless connection with an external device or with the terminal device, in a case where it is determined that the communication device is to establish the wireless connection with the external device, send first connection information to the communication device, in a case where it is determined that the communication device is to establish the wireless connection with the terminal device, send second connection information different from the first connection information to the communication device, establish the wireless connection with the communication device via the wireless interface by using the second connection information.
System and method for a health status display
Disclosed is a method for displaying a health registry-issued vaccination certification of a user on a user-mobile device, said method comprising the steps of: coupling the user-mobile device to a health registry over a network for display of a health registry-issued vaccination certification for the user; and outputting a visual display from the user-mobile device certifying the user's vaccination status.
Website verification service
The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to a website verification service. A system can receive, from a web server that hosts a website, a query for a set of authentication credentials (“credentials”) to be used to verify that the website is trustworthy. The system can generate and provide the credentials to the web server. The web server can, in turn, provide the credentials to a web browser device for presentation to a user via a web browser application executing on the web browser device. The system also can provide the credentials to a verifier device. The verifier device can present the credentials to the user via a verifier application executing on the verifier device. The user can compare the credentials presented via the web browser application to the credentials presented via the verifier application executing on the verifier device to determine whether the website can be trusted.
System for secure resource allocation communication with a network
A system is provided for processing resource transfers using networked computing systems with extended functionality. In particular, the system may comprise a first resource transfer device which may provide the staging for a resource transfer process initiated by a user. The first resource transfer device may then trigger a second resource transfer device to execute the steps of the resource transfer process, where the process may comprise communicating with one or more backend servers via a middleware component. Accordingly, the system may provide an expedient way to conduct resource transfers within an entity's network.
Method of On-Boarding a Monitoring Device into a Networked Electronic Monitoring System
A method is provided for on-boarding/integrating a monitoring device, such as a smart camera, into an electronic monitoring system. A plurality of access points to a wireless network are displayed on a user device such as a smartphone. Each of the plurality of access points has a corresponding credential associated therewith. Some or all of the plurality of access points are selected. A computer-readable code including information for the selected access points and associated credentials is generated. The monitoring device reads the computer-readable code to obtain the information for the selected access points and associated credentials. Access points may be prioritized for connection to the wireless network based on signal strength.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTE AUTHORIZATON AND CONTROLLING OF ELECTROCHROMIC GLASS UNITS
Various embodiments of systems and methods for remote authorization and controlling of electrochromic glass units (“EGUs”) are described. In some embodiments, a device monitoring and control system can provide a first authorization code to a communication gateway for an installation site for EGUs to authorize mobile applications to control at least some of the EGUs of the installation site. The device monitoring and control system can receive, via a control interface, a second authorization code from a mobile application, and compare the provided first authorization code to the received second authorization code. If the authorization codes compare, the mobile application can be authorized to control the EGUs of the installation site. The device monitoring and control system can also receive control instructions from the authorized mobile application to control the EGUs, and transmit control messages based on the control instructions to the installation site to implement the control instructions.
VERIFIED HOSTED INFORMATION IN ONLINE GALLERIES
An apparatus verifies hosted information associated with a user. The apparatus establishes, by the online host serving as a relying party system (RPS), a secure connection between the RPS and a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD). The RPS sends a mobile identification credential (MIC) user information request to the UMD, via the secure connection, seeking release of MIC user information (official information). The RPS obtains from authorizing party system (APS) verification of the MIC user information received in response to the MIC user information request. The RPS stores the MIC user information as hosted information pertaining to the user. The RPS designates the hosted information as base truth information representing the user.
System and method for device registration and authentication
Systems and methods for device registration and authentication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for authentication of a device may include (1) receiving, at a mobile device, a first credential; (2) transmitting, over a network, the first credential to a server; (3) receiving, from the server, a first key and a first value, the first value comprising a receipt for the first credential; (4) receiving, at the mobile device, a data entry for a second credential; (5) generating, by a processor, a second key from the data entry; (6) retrieving, by the mobile device, a third credential using the first key and the second key; (7) signing, by the mobile device, the first value with the third credential; and (8) transmitting, over the network, the signed third value to the server.
Movable barrier operator registration verification
Systems, methods, and apparatus for managing and controlling network-enabled movable barrier operators is provided. A method for managing network-enabled movable barrier operator includes receiving a user account identifier and a movable barrier operator identifier from a user device, providing an instruction to perform a specified action with a movable barrier operator associated with the movable barrier operator identifier to the user device, determining a registration condition is met upon detecting that the specified action has been performed, and, in the event that the registration condition is met, associating the movable barrier operator identifier with the user account identifier to allow a user account associated with the user account identifier to control the movable barrier operator over a network.
