Mapping multicast broadcast quality of service flows to logical channel identifiers

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a mode for mapping multicast broadcast quality of service (MB-QoS) flows to logical channel identifiers and group radio network temporary identifiers (G-RNTIs); identify an MB-QoS flow from a medium access control (MAC) transport block (TB) based at least in part on the indicated mode; and decode data included in the MB-QoS flow. Numerous other aspects are provided.

A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a dual connectivity path selection service is provided. The service may select a network path for dual connectivity. The service may use mapping information that may correlate network parameters and values to dual connectivity configurations. The service may compare parameters included in a configuration request pertaining to end devices with the mapping information for selection of a dual connectivity configuration.

A receiving STA of a wireless local area network (LAN) system, according to various embodiments, can support a multi-link including a first link and a second link. The receiving STA can request and receive a link for the transmission of low latency traffic. The receiving STA can transmit the low latency traffic on the basis of a first parameter set through a first link that is set as a link for the transmission of low latency traffic.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING QUALITY OF SERVICE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The present disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate than 4th generation (4G) communication systems such as long term evolution (LTE). An operating method for a base station in a wireless communication method comprises a step for transmitting a first message to another base station, and a step for receiving a second message from the other base station, the first message comprising information indicating whether the base station supports at least one of an alternative quality of service (QoS) profile function and a QoS flow establishment queue function,

Information transmission method and apparatus

This application discloses a communication system including a master base station and a secondary base station, both connecting with a terminal. In the communication system, the master base station sends a first message to the secondary base station for allocating transmission resources for one or more flows to be transmitted between the secondary base station and a terminal, wherein the first message carries one or both of: identification information of each flow to be transmitted, and information of a data radio bearer (DRB) associated with each flow to be transmitted, then the secondary base station may determine a mapping relationship between a DRB and an admitted flow according to the first message. Moreover, the master base station sends DRB configuration information to the terminal. Therefore, requirements of 5G communication systems for QoS management of information transmission in a dual connectivity scenario can be met.

Usage of pre-authorized QoS

In one aspect, a device, operating in an access network that can provide a plurality of QoS levels for user data flowing to and from the device, establishes a packet data session via the access network and receives, from the access network, cost information associated with each of one or more QoS levels. The device selects, for user data for at least a first application or service, a QoS level from among the plurality of QoS levels based on the cost information. The device transmits packets carrying user data for the first application or service to the access network. The transmission includes applying a QoS treatment to the user data according to the selected QoS level.

This application provides a communication method and an apparatus. UE establishes a connection to a home access gateway by using CPE, the home access gateway sends configuration information of a first link and configuration information of a second link to the CPE, and sends the configuration information of the second link to the UE. The first link is a link between the CPE and the home access gateway, the second link is a link between the CPE and the UE, the configuration information of the first link is used to indicate quality of service QoS information of the first link, and the configuration information of the second link is used to indicate QoS information of the second link. The UE and the CPE ensure, based on respective configuration information, QoS of UE service data transmitted on the first link and the second link.

Mapping Information for Integrated Access and BackhaulEmbodiments described herein relate to methods and apparatus for providing IAB mapping information. A method performed by CU-CP of a base station configured as a donor base station for one or more IAB nodes comprises transmitting a first message to setup or modify a first bearer context for a first bearer in a central unit user plane, CU-UP, of the base station, wherein the first message comprises an information element indicating mapping information for use in determining a mapping of the first bearer to a backhaul radio link control, BH RLC, channel.

PACKET-DEPENDENT LOGICAL CHANNEL RESTRICTION
20220377596 · 2022-11-24 ·

Techniques of ensuring that the survival time requirement is fulfilled include applying, by the UE (transmitter), a plurality of different logical channel (LCH) mapping restrictions to the packets on the same data radio bearer (DRB). In some implementations, the LCH mapping restrictions to be applied depend on the SN of the PDCP PDU to be processed. For example, the first LCH mapping restriction may be limited to radio resource with lower reliability (e.g., with the first LCH mapping restriction, the data from this LCH can only be mapped to a CG configuration without repetition and/or high MCS), while the second LCH mapping restriction may be limited to radio resources with extremely high reliability (e.g., with the first LCH mapping restriction, the data from this LCH can only be mapped to a CG configuration with repetitions and/or low MCS).
