ROAMING METHOD IN A MULTI-LINK SCENARIO, MULTI-LINK DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The application relates to the field of wireless communication, and discloses a roaming method in a multi-link scenario, a multi-link device and a storage medium. The roaming method in the multi-link scenario includes: selecting a target network access device that meets a condition; disconnecting a logical entity on a secondary link of an original network access device from the original network access device; establishing a connection of the logical entity with the target network access device; determining a link through which the logical entity is connected with the target network access device as a primary link; and disconnecting a connection of the other logical entity other than the logical entity with the original network access device. The application realizes roaming of a terminal among different network access devices through link management and interactive control, ensuring service continuity and avoiding packet loss.
METHOD FOR MODIFICATION IN DUAL-CONNECTION MODE AND DEVICE
Disclosed are a method for modification in dual-connection mode and a device, for use in solving the problem that the communication performance of a terminal is easily reduced after establishment or modification in the current dual-connection architecture. The method for modification in dual-connection mode provided in the present application comprises: an MN determines an SN for flow transfer, the MN sending to the SN a transfer instruction carrying the indication information of the PDU session to which the flow belongs, so that the SN determines, according to the received transfer instruction, whether to receive the flow transferred by the MN, wherein the indication information of the PDU session is used for indicating whether the MN transfers part or all of the flow under a PDU session. The method effectively improves the communication performance of a terminal in a communication process.
Waveform switching mechanism for digital MMWAVE repeaters in higher bands
A (repeater) node may identify a first indication of a waveform switch associated with a first link between a base station and the node or a second link between the node and a UE. A waveform switch associated with the first link may be triggered by the base station or the node. A waveform switch associated with the second link may be triggered by the node or the UE. The waveform switch may correspond to a first switch from an OFDM waveform to an SC waveform or a second switch from the SC waveform to the OFDM waveform. The base station may transmit, to the node, an indication of a post-waveform switch resource mapping between a first waveform associated with the first link and a second waveform associated with the second link. The node may execute the waveform switch associated with the first link or the second link.
PRIORITIZING COMMUNICATIONS FOR MULTIPLE RADIO ACCESS TECHNOLOGIES
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that transmission of one or more first messages, to a wireless device and via a first radio access technology (RAT), does not meet a transmission quality threshold associated with the one or more first messages, wherein the one or more first messages are time domain multiplexed with one or more second messages that are to be transmitted to the wireless device via a second RAT. The UE may adjust a prioritization of the one or more first messages or the one or more second messages to prioritize the transmission of the one or more first messages over the one or more second messages. Numerous other aspects are described.
A Method for Controlling Multipoint TCP in Wireless Communications Networks and Devices for Use Therein
A method in a wireless terminal operating in a 3GPP wireless communications network for controlling using MPTCP with a WLAN network, The method comprises receiving from the 3GPP wireless communications network system information comprising a condition for MPTCP with a WLAN network, the condition being associated with mobility characteristics of the wireless terminal. The method further comprises determining a parameter indicative of mobility characteristics of the wireless terminal and disabling MPTCP with a WLAN network if the parameter indicative of mobility characteristics indicates that mobility of the wireless terminal is at or above a value defined in the condition.
TECHNIQUES AND APPARATUSES FOR USER EQUIPMENT MOBILITY IN MULTI-CONNECTIVITY MODE
Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may select at least one target node for a radio resource control connection, wherein the user equipment is in a particular radio resource control communication state when the at least one target node is selected, and wherein the user equipment is configured to communicate using dual-connectivity, wherein context information associated with the user equipment is stored by the user equipment, a master node associated with the user equipment, and a secondary node associated with the user equipment based at least in part on the user equipment being in the particular radio resource control communication state; and/or transmit information to the at least one target node or the master node to cause the context information to be provided to the at least one target node. Numerous other aspects are provided.
