RADIO RESOURCE CONTROL RRC CONFIGURATION METHOD AND RELATED DEVICE
A method for configuring radio resource control (RRC) includes: receiving, by user equipment, an RRC configuration message sent by a first base station, where the RRC configuration message includes first RRC configuration content and a channel configuration parameter; configuring, by the user equipment, a first RRC connection between the user equipment and the first base station in response to the first RRC configuration content, and establishing a second RRC connection between the user equipment and a second base station based on the channel configuration parameter; receiving, by the user equipment, second RRC configuration content sent by the second base station; and configuring, by the user equipment, the second RRC connection between the user equipment and the second base station in response to the second RRC configuration content. According to the present disclosure, a transmission delay between base stations can be reduced and signaling load of a master base station can be reduced.
METHOD FOR HANDOVER BETWEEN INTER-RAT CELLS AND APPARATUS
The present application discloses a method and an apparatus. In the present application, a radio access network RAN server receives a measurement report from a terminal, determines a target inter-RAT cell of the terminal based on the measurement report, and configures a resource for the terminal in the target inter-RAT cell. The configured resource is a resource to be used by the terminal to access the target inter-RAT cell. The RAN server sends a handover command to the terminal. The handover command is used to instruct the terminal to hand over to the target inter-RAT cell, and the handover command carries an identifier of the target inter-RAT cell and information about the configured resource. In this way, when handover is performed between inter-RAT cells, handover can be implemented without across core networks, thereby reducing signaling exchange between a source core network and a target core network.
Method and apparatus for performing inter-MeNB handover without SeNB change in wireless communication system
A method and apparatus for performing an inter-master eNodeB (MeNB) handover procedure without secondary eNB (SeNB) change in a wireless communication system is provided. A source MeNB transmits a handover request message including a first indication of a SeNB to a target MeNB. The first indication may correspond to a SeNB identifier (ID). Upon receiving the handover request message including the first indication, the target MeNB transmits a SeNB addition request message including a second indication of a UE, served by the SeNB, to the SeNB. The second indication may correspond to an old SeNB UE X2AP ID, which was allocated by the SeNB. Upon receiving the SeNB addition request message including the second indication, the SeNB may transmit a SeNB addition acknowledge message including a third indication of keeping bearers of the SeNB from the SeNB.
NEXT GENERATION NODE-B (GNB) AND METHODS FOR MOBILITY MANAGEMENT WITH SEPARATE USER PLANE AND CONTROL PLANE IN NEW RADIO (NR) SYSTEMS
Embodiments of a Next Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The gNB may be configurable to operate as a source gNB (S-gNB). The S-gNB may transfer, from a control plane (CU-CP) of the S-gNB to a CU-CP of a target gNB (T-gNB), an XnAP handover request message that indicates an Xn handover of a User Equipment (UE) from the S-gNB to the T-gNB. The S-gNB may initiate data forwarding, from a user plane (CU-UP) of the S-gNB to a CU-UP of the T-gNB, of downlink data packets. The data forwarding may be terminated based on reception of end marker packets from a user plane function (UPF) entity. The CU-UP of the S-gNB may transfer end marker packets to the CU-UP of the S-gNB to indicate termination of the data forwarding.
HANDLING MOBILE DEVICE ADMINISTRATION IN ANCHORLESS MOBILE NETWORKS
A method in an access node of a Mobile network. The method comprises: maintaining, by the access node, device administration data pertaining to a mobile electronic device, the device administration data including at least one statistic pertaining to traffic to and from the mobile electronic device, and at least one rule for controlling an operation of the mobile electronic device; updating, by the access node, the at least one statistic based on the traffic to and from the mobile electronic device; enforcing, by the access node, the at least one rule based on the at least one statistic; and synchronizing, by the access node, the device administration data pertaining to the mobile electronic device with corresponding second device administration data maintained by a second access node of the Mobile network.
Method of distributing security key context, mobility management entity, and base station
A method of distributing a security key context, where the method includes receiving, by a mobility management entity, a first indication from a primary base station, where the first indication is used for requesting a path switch from the mobility management entity and indicating that the path switch is triggered by carrier aggregation between base stations, processing the path switch according to the first indication, and keeping, according to the first indication, the security key context for the path switch unchanged, and sending a second indication to the primary base station, to indicate the primary base station to keep the security key context unchanged, or sending a third indication to the primary base station, to indicate the primary base station to acquire a quantity of times of reversal of a next hop chaining counter in the security key context.
Communication device, core network node, mobile communication system, communication method, and storage medium
In the case where a wireless terminal conducts a handover from a first device to a second device, a communication device of this exemplary embodiment performs communication with the second device and a core network node, in order to notify an appropriate device of information regarding the transfer path of data. The communication device receives control information from the core network node upon the handover. The control information is information regarding the transfer path of data to be transferred from the first device to the second device.
TECHNIQUES FOR MANAGING SECURE CONTENT TRANSMISSIONS IN A CONTENT DELIVERY NETWORK
Techniques are described for managing secure content transmissions in a content delivery network (CDN). A method for handling content requests at an edge node device of a CDN includes receiving a request to access content of a website from a user equipment (UE) over a wireless network; obtaining, in response to receiving the request, an authentication certificate for the website from a key server by providing an authentication certificate of the edge node device to the key server; and establishing a secure connection with the UE based at least in part on the authentication certificate. A method for wireless communication at a UE includes generating a request to access content of a website; processing the request at a modem, the processing including associating mobile CDN content delivery acceleration information with the request; and transmitting the request and the associated mobile CDN content delivery acceleration information to a network access device.
