USER EQUIPMENT, NETWORK NODE AND METHODS IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
A method performed by a User Equipment, UE is provided. The UE receives from a network node, a higher layer configuration comprising a set of SpCell configurations, to be configured in the UE. While being in connected state, the UE receives a lower layer signaling from a network node. The lower layer signaling comprises an indication. The indication indicates one or more SpCells comprised in the set of SpCell configurations, to be any one or more out of: activated or deactivated.
CELL CAMPING METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application discloses a cell camping method and an apparatus. The method includes: After a terminal device camps on a first cell, a network device may send a first message to the terminal device, where the first message includes information about a second cell, the first cell corresponds to a first CC, and the second cell corresponds to a second CC; after receiving the first message, the terminal device sends a second message to the network device, where the second message may indicate the first cell and/or the second cell, or the second message may include measurement information of the first cell and/or the second cell; and the network device may determine, based on the second message, that the terminal device camps on the first cell or the second cell. This ensures network load balancing between different cells.
Radio network node, wireless device, and methods for performed in a wireless communication network
Embodiments herein relate, for example, to operations performed by a network node for handling communication of a wireless device in a wireless communication network. The network node receives a first preamble associated with a first downlink (“DL”) beam from the wireless device. The network node transmits a random access response (“RAR”) to the wireless device using the first DL beam associated with the first preamble. Responsive to transmitting the RAR using the first DL beam, the network node determines that the wireless device has not received the RAR. Responsive to determining that the wireless device has not received the RAR, the network node transmits the RAR using a second DL beam.
Measurement report triggering method and apparatus
Embodiments of the application provide a communications method and apparatus. A target cell is determined based on measurement results of N measured cells and a preset value when there is a first cell satisfying a report trigger condition. A measurement result of the target cell is sent to a base station. A terminal may not only send the measurement result of the cell satisfying the trigger condition to the base station, but also send a measurement result of another cell to the base station. In this way, a quantity of cells that can be selected during determining of handover can be increased, to help the base station select a suitable cell for the terminal.
Operating with multiple schedulers in a wireless system
Systems and methods are disclosed for a WTRU to operate using multiple schedulers. The WTRU may exchange data with the network over more than one data path, such that each data path may use a radio interface connected to a different network node and each node may be associated with an independent scheduler. For example, a WTRU may establish a RRC connection between the WTRU and a network. The RRC connection may establish a first radio interface between the WTRU and a first serving site of the network and a second radio interface between the WTRU and a second serving site of the network. The RRC connection may be established between the WTRU and the MeNB and a control function may be established between the WTRU and the SCeNB. The WTRU may receive data from the network over the first radio interface or the second radio interface.
METHOD FOR PERFORMING A HANDOVER BETWEEN A FIRST CELL AND A SECOND CELL, USER EQUIPMENT AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A method implemented by a user equipment performs a handover between a first cell and a second cell in a network comprising a satellite communication network, the first cell and the second cell being supported by one or more satellites of the satellite communication network, the first cell corresponding to a first base station and the second cell corresponding to a second base station, at least the first cell being supported by a non-geostationary orbit satellite of the satellite communication network, the method including: determining a value to be used as a timing advance in the second cell; and performing an uplink transmission with the second base station using the value to be used as a timing advance in the second cell.
Communication Method and Apparatus
This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device receives first information sent by a first base station, where the first information includes a first timing advance of a second base station, or the first information includes a parameter used by the terminal device to obtain the first timing advance of the second base station, and the first timing advance is a timing advance used in a process of data transmission with the second base station; and the terminal device obtains the first timing advance of the second base station based on the first information.
COMMUNICATIONS DEVICES, INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT AND METHODS
A communications device including circuitry configured to determine that the communications device is to perform a handover procedure from the first cell to a second cell, measure a difference between the start of a first radio frame received from the first cell and the start of a second radio frame received from the second cell, and to determine, during the handover procedure, in accordance with the measured difference, at least one of a value of a propagation delay of the second cell and a value of a timing advance of the second cell, the propagation delay of the second cell defining a time taken for a signal to travel one way between the communications device and the second cell, the timing advance of the second cell being defining a time taken for a signal to travel a round trip between the communications device and the second cell.
Reconfiguration Procedure in a Wireless Communication Network
A network node (1700) configured to operate as a source network node (32) of a reconfiguration procedure transmits signaling to a target network node (34) of the reconfiguration procedure. The signaling indicates (i) whether or not the target network node (34) is to provide feedback information (44) to the source network node (32) and/or (ii) which one or more types of feedback information (44) the target network node (34) is to provide to the source network node (32). Based on the received feedback information (44), the network node may train a model to predict predicted information, predict the predicted information using the model, and make a decision based on the predicted information.
UE FALLBACK FROM DUAL-ACTIVE PROTOCOL STACK TO CONDITIONAL HANDOVER
A method and apparatus may include receiving, by a user equipment from a source cell, a first configuration configured for conditional handover and dual active protocol stack handover with a reduced target cell configuration, and a second configuration configured for conditional handover only. The method may further include determining, by the user equipment, the availability of at least one radio link associated with the source cell. The method may further include performing, by the user equipment, a conditional handover procedure according to at least one of the received configurations based upon the determination.
