MITIGATING ADJACENT CHANNEL INTERFERENCE FOR A DUAL RADIO NETWORK DEVICE
Examples described herein mitigate adjacent channel interference for dual radios of a network device. Examples described herein may associate, by a network device, a first client device with a first radio of the network device, associate, by the network device, a second client device with a second radio of the network device, determine that the first and second client devices are within a steering threshold, and based on the determination that the first and second client devices are within the steering threshold, steer, by the network device, the second client device from the second radio to the first radio. Examples described herein may communicate, using the first radio of the network device, with the first and second client devices.
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING CELL MEASUREMENT, USER EQUIPMENT, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for adjusting cell measurement, a user equipment (UE), and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: determining wireless communication throughput of the UE is lower than a threshold, and adjusting a cell measurement result of a serving cell, where the adjusted cell measurement result is used to steer the UE to a neighbor cell.
USER EQUIPMENT (UE) HANDOVER IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORKS
A wireless UE wirelessly attaches to a network controller over a source RAN. The UE transfers UE capabilities that comprise a Public Land Mobile Network Identifier (PLMN ID) and transfers a slice request for a network slice type to the network controller over the source RAN. The network controller selects a network slice based on the requested network slice type. The network controller selects a mobility profile that comprises handover criteria based on the requested slice type and the PLMN ID. The UE exchanges user data with a user plane over the selected network slice. The UE determines a handover requirement based on the handover criteria and identifies a set of target RANs. The UE selects one of the target RANs based on the handover criteria and hands over to the target RAN. The UE exchanges additional user data with user plane over the network slice and the target RAN.
INITIATING RANDOM ACCESS IN A TARGET CELL IN A NON-TERRESTRIAL NETWORK
Various aspects described herein relate to dynamically controlling a time when random access initiated in a target cell of a non-terrestrial network. For example, when a user equipment (UE) detects an event that triggers a random access procedure in the target cell, the UE may monitor a control channel from the target cell for a control signal during a target cell monitoring window prior to initiating random access in the target cell. For example, the control signal may include a dynamic indication to identify UEs allowed to initiate random access, whereby a UE is not permitted to autonomously start contention-based random access in the target cell during the target cell monitoring window unless the UE has received the control signal. In this way, the target cell may regulate a rate at which UEs initiate the RACH procedure in order to manage congestion in the target cell.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND ROAMING METHOD
An electronic device includes a wireless communication module configured to transceive a wireless signal, a processor operatively connected to the wireless communication module, and a memory electrically connected to the processor and configured to store instructions executable by the processor, wherein, when the instructions are executed by the processor, the processor is configured to determine whether roaming is triggered by a roaming trigger while forming a plurality of links with and connected to an access point (AP), determine a state of the plurality of links by responding to the roaming trigger, and differentiate and perform roaming operations according to the state of the plurality of links. In addition, various embodiments may be possible.
Providing handover thresholds to the RAN
Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for handovers including fallbacks. In some example embodiments, there is provided an apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including program code which when executed causes the apparatus to at least: receive, during creation or modification of a bearer, a message including a handover threshold based at least in part on a type of codec for the bearer; receive, from a user equipment, a measurement report providing an indication of a condition of the bearer and/or perform a measurement, by the base station, providing the indication of the condition of the bearer; determine, based at least on the handover threshold, whether to initiate a handover. Related apparatus, systems, methods, and articles are also described.
Signalling improvement in conditional handover
An apparatus comprising means for performing: receiving, while connected to a first cell, preparation information for preparing the apparatus for a conditional handover of the apparatus to at least one other cell; receiving, from the first cell, a message, wherein the message causes the apparatus to transition from a connected state to an inactive state; receiving, from the first cell, information of a release condition; when it is determined that the release condition is met, sending a release indication and releasing the preparation information from the apparatus.
Wireless roaming method and device, storage medium, and access point device
A wireless roaming method and an apparatus, a storage medium and an access point device are disclosed. The wireless roaming method comprises: receiving, from an overlapping access point, first signal strength indication information that describes signal strength when a station transmits a data packet to the overlapping access point via a current channel, wherein the coverage of the overlapping access point overlaps with that of a current access point, the station accesses to the current access point, and the current access point operates on the current channel; measuring second signal strength information that describes signal strength when the station transmits a data packet to the current access point via the current channel; and sending the first signal strength indication information and the second signal strength indication information to the station, and/or generating a switching instruction based on the first signal strength indication information and the second signal strength indication information and sending at least the switching instruction to the station. The technical solution of the present disclosure can improve the efficiency of wireless roaming.
