Train control system, base station control device, and ground wireless base station system
A train control system enabling a train to smoothly travel while performing handover. The system includes an on-vehicle wireless station mounted on a train following a preceding train and connected to an on-vehicle control device of the train, ground wireless base stations capable of wirelessly communicating with the on-vehicle wireless station, and a base station control device to control the base stations. The ground wireless base station is located between the ground wireless base station with which the on-vehicle wireless station is communicating and the ground wireless base station forming a communication area including a travelling permission point determined by a position of the train. The base station control device reserves radio resources of the ground wireless base stations while communicating with the ground wireless base station.
Data Buffer based Connection Reconfiguration Control
A wireless communication device (10, 101-1, 101-2) monitors one or more conditions related to one or more data buffers for data to be transmitted on a wireless connection maintained by the wireless communication device (10, 101-1, 101-2). Based on the one or more conditions, the wireless communication device (10, 101-1, 101-2) controls timing of executing a reconfiguration of the wireless connection.
CALL SYSTEM, EXTENSION, AND HOST
Embodiments of this application relate to a call system, an extension, and a host in the field of communication technologies. An example call system includes a host and an extension. A network side device and the host are connected through a network side link, and the host and the extension are connected through a first terminal side link. The extension exchanges a call data packet with the network side device through the first terminal side link and the network side link. The extension and the host transmit the call data packet through a second terminal side link in response to determining that call quality of the extension is lower than a quality threshold. The first terminal side link is different from the second terminal side link.
Conditional handover in wireless networks
An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for conditional handover between a source base station (SBS) and a target base station (TBS) in a wireless network, the processing circuitry is to decode measurement configuration information from the SBS. The measurement configuration information indicating a measurement event and a first threshold associated with the measurement event to trigger measurement reporting. A measurement report is encoded for transmission to the SBS, the measurement report triggered based on the first threshold. RRC signaling is received from the SBS. The RRC signaling includes a conditional handover command indicating a second threshold for the measurement event, the second threshold being higher than the first threshold. A handover from the SBS to the TBS is performed based on the conditional handover command after detecting that the measurement event satisfies the second threshold.
User equipment (UE)-triggered handover with early preparation in mobile networks
Methods and apparatus are provided for UE-triggered handover and early preparation with coexistence of the network-triggered handover. In one novel aspect, the UE is configured early measurement report configuration, receives an early handover command from the serving base station with a handover candidate cell list, monitors handover triggering conditions for each candidate cell on the handover candidate cell list based on a UE-triggered handover configuration and performs the UE-triggered handover to a candidate cell when the corresponding triggering condition is met for the candidate cell. In one embodiment, the UE receives a network-triggered handover command to a target cell, suspends the UE-triggered handover configuration and performs the network-triggered handover to the target cell. The UE discards the UE-triggered handover configuration upon success of the network-triggered handover and resumes the UE-triggered handover configuration upon failure of the network-triggered handover.
Cell selection using multiple factors
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform measurements on a plurality of cells. The UE may order the plurality of cells based at least in part on multiple factors including at least a cell selection condition, the cell selection condition indicating a threshold for the measurement for cell selection. The UE may select, based at least in part on the ordering, a cell from the plurality of cells. The UE may camp on the selected cell. Numerous other aspects are provided.

The present disclosure relates to an electronic device, a communication method and a storage medium in a wireless communication system. There is provided an electronic device for a network control device, comprising a processing circuitry configured to: interact with one or more neighbor cells of a user equipment (UE) to acquire support information on network slice type suitable for the UE fed back by each of the neighbor cells; based on the support information, evaluate a service capability metric for each of the neighbor cells with respect to said network slice type; and at least based on the service capability metric, determine a selection priority of each of the neighbor cells for the UE.
Signaling for conditional primary secondary cell addition/change configuration
Aspects relate to wireless communication where a master node (MN) or a secondary node (SN) may initiate a conditional addition of a primary secondary cell (PSCell) or a conditional change from one PSCell to another PSCell. Each candidate target PSCell may provide information to be used by the MN to generate a conditional PSCell addition (CPA) configuration or a conditional PSCell change (CPC) configuration that is sent to a user equipment (UE). This information may indicate an execution condition for each candidate target PSCell and/or radio bearers that each candidate target PSCell supports or does not support. An MN may modify a master cell group (MCG) configuration for a PSCell based on information received from a target SN with an secondary cell group (SCG) configuration for the PSCell. The MN may transmit a CPA or CPC configuration including the modified MCG configuration and the SCG configuration to the UE.
