SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEAMLESS SWITCHING OF DEFAULT DATA RADIO
Systems and methods for seamless switching of data radios are provided herein. In one example, a communications system includes first and second data radios communicatively coupled to first and second antennas at first and second positions on a vehicle, respectively. The first and second data radios are tuned to the same frequency for data communications. The communications system includes at least one processor communicatively coupled to a memory, the first data radio, and the second data radio. The at least one processor is configured to: monitor one or more parameters for the first and second data radios; determine whether the first data radio or the second data radio has better current performance based on a comparison of the one or more parameters for the first and second data radios; and switch from the first data radio to the second data radio for primary data communications based on the determination.
METHOD FOR MODIFICATION IN DUAL-CONNECTION MODE AND DEVICE
Disclosed are a method for modification in dual-connection mode and a device, for use in solving the problem that the communication performance of a terminal is easily reduced after establishment or modification in the current dual-connection architecture. The method for modification in dual-connection mode provided in the present application comprises: an MN determines an SN for flow transfer, the MN sending to the SN a transfer instruction carrying the indication information of the PDU session to which the flow belongs, so that the SN determines, according to the received transfer instruction, whether to receive the flow transferred by the MN, wherein the indication information of the PDU session is used for indicating whether the MN transfers part or all of the flow under a PDU session. The method effectively improves the communication performance of a terminal in a communication process.

Wireless communication system and method for handling wireless communication enhancing handover
The invention refers to a wireless communication system including a plurality of base-stations covering different communication areas and a coordinator unit. The coordinator unit compiles an expectation list with at least one base-station serving as a coordinated base-station for a possible handover concerning a user equipment based on information about the user equipment. The coordinator unite provides the at least one base-station of the expectation list with handover information concerning the possible handover. The at least one base-station of the expectation list goes into an attention mode after receiving the handover information from the coordinator unit. The invention also refers to a corresponding method.
Radio link failure reporting in a system using multiple cells
Radio link Failure (RLF) reporting operation in a wireless communication system using multiple cells is disclosed. According to this operation, when a first cell and a second cell are simultaneously connected to a UE and the first cell and the second cell are of different base stations (a first base station and a second base station respectively), if the RLF with the UE on the first cell is detected by the first base station, the first base station may transmits an indication of the RLF with the UE on the first cell to the second base station.

Management of communications with multiple access points based on inter-access point communications
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for managing communications in a wireless communications system. An inter-access point communications link between a first access point and a second access point is established. At the first access point, one or more performance statistics from the second access point are received via the inter-access point communications link. Communication to or from a mobile device via the first access point and the second access point, is managed based at least in part on the received performance statistics.
Update of a Mobility Parameter in a System Configured for Dual Connectivity
A method including storing, at a first node, at least one parameter associated with handover of one or more user equipment from said first node to at least one further node; causing to be sent, from said first node, a request for change of said parameter; and updating said parameter at said first node; wherein said first node is configured for dual connectivity with one or more user equipment and a second node.

Systems and methods for mobility state estimation framework for LTE network
Methods, systems, and devices for mobility state estimation in a heterogeneous network are disclosed herein. User equipment (UE) includes circuitry to perform a mobility state estimation (MSE) operation to determine an MSE state for the UE, and a receiver to receive, from a cell in a heterogeneous third generation partnership project (3GPP) network, mobility state information corresponding to movement of the UE within the heterogeneous 3GPP network. The circuitry is configured to update the MSE state based on the mobility state information received from the cell. The UE may also include a transmitter to communicate the updated MSE state to the cell.
