Consecutive conditional handovers
This disclosure relates to techniques for performing consecutive conditional handovers. A cellular base station may provide conditional handover information for multiple conditional handovers to a wireless device. The conditional handover information may include information for performing a conditional handover from a cell provided by the cellular base station to at least one cell, and information for performing a conditional handover from one or more of those cells to at least one cell. The wireless device may perform multiple consecutive conditional handovers using the conditional handover information.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING BEAM FAILURE RECOVERY REQUEST, METHOD FOR RECEIVING BEAM FAILURE RECOVERY REQUEST, TERMINAL AND BASE STATION
The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting a beam failure recovery request, a method for transmitting receiving a beam failure recovery request, a terminal and a base station, the method for transmitting the beam failure recovery request is applied to the terminal and includes: determining at least one first target cell according to a preset priority rule when a beam failure event is detected; sending request information of beam failure recovery on the at least one first target cell.
INFORMATION REPORTING METHOD, INFORMATION RECEIVING METHOD, TERMINAL AND NETWORK DEVICE
Embodiments of the disclosure provide an information reporting method, an information receiving method, a terminal and a network device. The information reporting method includes: reporting, to a network device, information of a connection failure or a secondary cell addition failure, wherein the connection failure includes at least one of the following: a conditional handover failure, a reduction in user data interruption (RUDI) failure and a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) failure.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR DETECTING UN-RESPONSIVE CELLS OVER LTE AND 5G NETWORKS
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, collecting network data for a plurality of cells of a cellular communication network, identifying a particular cell of the plurality of cells is in an un-responsive state, wherein the identifying is based on the network data, selecting a plurality of user equipment (UE) devices as UE test devices, forcing cell reselection attempts, handover attempts, or both, by the UE test devices to communicate with the particular cell, confirming the particular cell is in the un-responsive state based on failure of the cell reselection attempts or failure of the handover attempts, and communicating a restart signal from the processing system to cause the particular cell to restart to a responsive state. Other embodiments are disclosed.
CONDITIONAL MOBILITY WITH MULTI-CONNECTIVITY
Systems, methods and instrumentalities are described herein with respect to the mobility and multi-connectivity of wireless transmit receive units. These devices may be configured to perform conditional handovers and/or conditional second cell group reconfigurations including primary secondary cell additions or changes. The devices may exchange information with a network while performing the conditional reconfigurations and/or conditional handovers. The devices may be configured with rules to handle concurrent handover and reconfiguration tasks.
RELEASE OF CONDITIONAL PRIMARY SECONDARY CELL ADDITION/MODIFICATION CONFIGURATIONS
In a wireless terminal secondary cell group (SCG) configurations are invalidated upon change of a master key. The wireless terminal comprises processor circuitry and receiver circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to establish, using a first master key, a first security context on a first radio connection with a master access node. The receiver circuitry is configured to receiver circuitry configured to receive a re-configuration message comprising one or more conditional secondary cell configurations and at least one counter. Each conditional secondary cell configuration may comprise an identity of a candidate primary secondary cell and at least one triggering condition, the candidate primary secondary cell being used for Dual-Connectivity (DC). The at least one counter and the first master key may be used for derivation of a second master key to be used for establishment of a second security context with one of the candidate primary secondary cells. The processor circuitry is further configured to invalidate one or more conditional secondary cell configurations upon a change of the first master key.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HANDLING TIMER RELATED TO RADIO LINK FAILURE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to handling a timer related to a radio link failure (RLF) in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving a conditional mobility command comprising a mobility execution condition for a target cell; detecting that an entering condition of the mobility execution condition is satisfied while a timer is running, wherein a radio link failure (RLF) is detected upon an expiry of the timer; stopping the timer based on detecting that the entering condition of the mobility execution condition is satisfied; and performing a mobility to the target cell based on that the entering condition is satisfied for at least a time to trigger (TTT) related to the mobility execution condition.
RE-ESTABLISHMENT METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A re-establishment method includes: If a link failure occurs in a handover procedure of a terminal device, the terminal device releases configuration information used in a source cell. The terminal device further determines a re-establishment request message based on configuration information used in the target cell, and sends the re-establishment request message in a re-establishment cell. A method for selecting a re-establishment cell and releasing configuration information when a link failure occurs in a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) handover procedure of the terminal device reduces memory consumption of the terminal device.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, DEVICE, AND MEDIUM
A data transmission method, a device, and a medium are provided. The data transmission method includes: sending first notification information to a second target device in a case that a wireless link between a relay terminal device and a first target device is abnormal. The first notification information is used to reduce data traffic transmitted from the second target device to the relay terminal device or to stop data transmission between the second target device and the relay terminal device.
HYBRID AUTOMATIC REPEAT REQUEST TRANSMISSIONS IN MULTI-LINK DEVICES
A method includes transmitting a message over a first link using a first radio of a plurality of radios of a multi-link device and in response to determining that the message was not properly received, selecting a second radio of the plurality of radios of the multi-link device. A second link of the second radio provides a higher probability than the first link that the message will be properly received. The method also includes retransmitting the message over the second link using the second radio.
