PATTERN LEARNING TO ELIMINATE REPETITIVE COMPUTE OPERATIONS IN A DATA COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A data communication network includes a first data communication node configured to establish a first data connection with a user equipment device within a coverage area of the data communication network, a second data communication node configured to establish a second data connection with the user equipment device within the coverage area, an imaging device configured to provide image information for the coverage area, and an information handling system. The information handling system determines a trajectory of the user equipment device within the coverage area based upon the image information, and determines a location along the first trajectory to hand off the user equipment device from the first data connection to the second data connection based on the first trajectory.
Handover for a Device Served by an IAB Node
Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to handover for a device (s) served by an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node. A first device receives indication information indicating a change of service availability of a second device that serves at least one third device. The first device determines, based on the indication information, whether a handover of the at least one third device from the second device is to be triggered. In accordance with a determination that the handover of the at least one third device is to be triggered, the first device transmits, to the second device, handover information indicating at least one fourth device selected for the handover of the at least one third device from the second device.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION CONNECTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A wireless communication device according to the disclosure includes a communication unit, a storage unit, and a control unit. The control unit includes a monitoring section that monitors strength of a radio signal transmitted by a currently-connected access point, a determination section that retrieves information indicating correspondence between information on a travel route of the wireless communication device and a candidate for a switching destination access point from the storage unit and determines a connection destination access point based on the information retrieved, and a connection section that executes connection processing to the connection destination access point determined, when the strength of the radio signal transmitted by the currently-connected access point falls outside a threshold value.
MOBILITY IN NON-TERRESTRIAL NETWORKS WITH EARTH MOVING CELLS
Methods and apparatuses for mobility in non-terrestrial network with earth moving cells in a wireless communication system. A method of a UE comprises: receiving, for a serving cell or neighbor cells, first cell-moving information including first coordinates of a first reference location at a first epoch time and a velocity of the first reference location; determining whether at least one of the serving cell or the neighbor cells is an earth-moving cell; updating, using the first cell-moving information and ephemeris information, the first coordinates of the first reference location for at least one of the serving cell or the neighbor cells based on a determination that the at least one of the serving cell or the neighbor cells is the earth-moving cell; identifying a distance between the UE and the first coordinates of the first reference location; and determine, based on the distance, whether to measure signals received from the neighbor cells for a cell reselection operation.
LOCATION SERVICE CONTINUITY IN CASE OF MOBILITY PROCEDURES
There are provided measures for location service continuity in case of mobility procedures. Such measures, for example, comprise, at a first network entity handling connection and mobility management tasks in a mobile network, receiving a first message indicative of completion of a mobility procedure with respect to a terminal in said mobile network, determining whether there is an ongoing location service session for said terminal, and transmitting, if there is said ongoing location service session for said terminal, a second message indicative of completion of said mobility procedure with respect to said terminal towards a second network entity configured to expose a location service for said terminal.
Data Caching Method and Related Apparatus
A data caching method is applied to a first terminal comprising an application processor and a modem processor. The method includes the application processor sending preset path information of a first route to the modem processor, where the preset path information includes a node handover list of the first route, the node handover list includes information about a plurality of nodes, each node corresponds to at least one cell, and information about each node includes a node identifier, a network performance identifier of the node, and a cell identifier corresponding to the node. The modem processor sends first indication information to the application processor, where the first indication information is used to indicate the application processor to cache data, and the first indication information is determined based on the preset path information.
CONFIGURATION OF WIRELESS ACCESS NODES BY DISTRIBUTED LEDGERS
A wireless communication system wirelessly transfers a network integration request to a distributed ledger over a communication satellite. The network integration request indicates an access node identifier, ledger credentials, and geographic location. The distributed ledger validates the ledger credentials, and in response, translates the access node identifier and the geographic location into an access node configuration. The distributed ledger transfers the access node configuration to the wireless access node over the communication satellite. Based on the access node configuration, the wireless access node wirelessly registers with a wireless communication network, wirelessly exchanges user data between User Equipment (UEs) and the wireless communication network, and hands-over some of the UEs with neighbor access nodes.
ENHANCED SERVICE CONTINUITY UTILIZING MUSIM
Apparatus and method to perform receiving from a network node of a first mobile network of more than one mobile network of a communication network, by a user equipment of the first mobile network, an indication (610) of an approaching coverage limit for a coverage area associated with a link between the first public land mobile network and the user equipment wherein the user equipment includes a multi subscriber identity module, and wherein a first subscriber identity module of the multi subscriber module is connected to a network node associated with the first mobile network; and based on the receiving, performing pro-active preparation for causing (620) a second subscriber identity module of the multi subscriber identity module of the user equipment to enable pro-active preparation of switching to a second mobile network of the more than one mobile network in response to an upcoming failure of the link between the user equipment and the first mobile network based on the approaching coverage limit of the coverage area. Further, there is determining, by a network node of a first mobile network of more than one mobile network of a communication network, an approaching coverage limit for a coverage area associated with a link between the first mobile network and a user equipment, wherein the user equipment includes a multi subscriber identity module and wherein a first subscriber identity module of the multi subscriber module is connected to a network node associated with the first public land mobile network; and based on determining, sending towards the user equipment information including an indication to perform pro-active preparation for causing a second subscriber identity module of the multi subscriber identity module of the user equipment to enable pro-active preparation for switching by the second subscriber identity module to a second mobile network of the more than one mobile network in response to an upcoming failure of the link between the user equipment and the first mobile network based on the approaching coverage limit of the coverage area.
