Methods for Enhanced Radio Link Failure Recovery

A user equipment (UE) may establish a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a first cell of a cellular network and transmit signaling comprising an indication of enhanced radio link failure (RLF) recovery capability. The UE may receive one or more RRC messages comprising configuration information for RLF recovery on the first cell. The UE detect one or more RLFs corresponding to the first cell and further determine, via a connection reestablishment cell selection procedure, that the first cell is a suitable RLF recovery candidate cell. In response to the detection and determination, the UE may apply the configuration information for the first cell. The UE may then transmit signaling comprising a trigger indicating a RLF recovery to the cellular network and re-establish the RRC connection with the cellular network using the configuration information.

PRIORITIZATION AT CELL RESELECTION BY UE OF MCG AND SCG CELLS OVER NEIGHBOR CELLS CONFIGURED WITH HIGHER PRIORITY BY THE NETWORK

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Implementations described herein support prioritization of cells that are configured at the UE over neighboring cells (e.g., that are unconfigured) for cell reselection while the UE is in an inactive state. The UE may receive system information that indicates a cell reselection priority for evaluating a plurality of cells. The system information may indicate that the neighboring cell is assigned a higher priority than a cell of a master cell group or a cell of the secondary cell group that are configured at the UE. The UE may perform a cell reselection procedure that prioritizes reselection of the master cell group cell, the secondary group cell, or both over the neighboring cell and establish a connection with one of the plurality of cells based on a result of the cell reselection procedure.

CONDITIONAL HANDOVER WITH MULTIPLE SUBSCRIPTIONS

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, via a first subscription of the UE, a trigger event for a conditional handover of the UE from a source network entity to a target network entity. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the trigger event, that a target band associated with the target network entity is not compatible with a serving band associated with a second subscription of the UE. The UE may store the trigger event for the conditional handover in a buffer of the UE. The UE may perform an action related to the conditional handover based at least in part on a condition being satisfied. Numerous other aspects are described.
