Systems and Methods for Consent Information Delivery in Wireless Communications
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a framework for user consent delivery and utilization in cellular communication systems. An access and mobility management function (AMF) of a network may obtain, from a user data management (UDM), user consent information via a user consent parameter included in a structured data type. The AMF may provide, to a base station of the network, the user consent information via a user consent information element. The user consent information element may be associated with at least one data type and the at least one data type may include radio link failure (RLF) information sharing consent and/or user location information sharing consent. The user consent information element may be included in any of an initial context setup request message, a user equipment (UE) context modification request message, and/or a handover request message.
SELECTION OF PACKET DATA PROTOCOL CONTEXT FOR HANDOVER FROM CELLULAR NETWORK TO FEMTO CELL
Packet data protocol (PDP) contexts are managed upon cellular-to-femto handover, wherein femto network has disparate capabilities to support applications with distinct access point names (APNs) and quality of service (QoS) profiles. Based at least on activity factors of applications associated with PDP contexts, a QoS-based ranking of PDP contexts, and subscriber input, cellular network platform selects active PDP contexts to retain and suspend upon handover. A group of active PDP contexts is handed off in accordance with femto coverage capability, with remaining active PDP contexts suspended during handover. When a suspended PDP context, and application associated therewith, is resumed through femto coverage, a PDP context modification is conducted with a new APN and the application is routed to a corresponding femto gateway node and application server. Additionally, femto network platform performs a radio access bearer reconfiguration to meet QoS requirements of the resumed PDP context.

A method comprises receiving a message including neighbor connection information regarding a number of connections between a target base station and one or more neighboring base stations. The method includes determining whether a connection condition is satisfied. The method comprises, in response to determining the connection condition is satisfied, determining a number of handover requests performed between the target base station and each of the one or more neighboring base stations. The method comprises placing each base station from the one or more neighboring base stations having a number of handover requests below a handover threshold on a list associated with blocking the target base station. The method further comprises transmitting, to each base station included on the list, a control request to block the target base station from receiving a connection request or handover request from a respective base station included on the list.

In aspects of media session transfer for unavailable applications, a mobile device receives, from a computing device, a transfer indication that a media session active on the computing device is to be transferred to the mobile device. The media session is associated with a media application that is unavailable on the mobile device. The mobile device establishes a communication link with the computing device and receives, via the communication link, the transfer of the media session. The media session is continued on the mobile device. In implementations, the computing device detects that a user of the computing device is moving away from the computing device while the media session is active on the computing device, for example, by detecting that the mobile device is moving away from the computing device and performing channel sounding with the mobile device.
Systems and methods for blocking and un-blocking X2ap neighbors based on load
A method comprises receiving a message including neighbor connection information regarding a number of connections between a target base station and one or more neighboring base stations. The method includes determining whether a connection condition is satisfied. The method comprises, in response to determining the connection condition is satisfied, determining a number of handover requests performed between the target base station and each of the one or more neighboring base stations. The method comprises placing each base station from the one or more neighboring base stations having a number of handover requests below a handover threshold on a list associated with blocking the target base station. The method further comprises transmitting, to each base station included on the list, a control request to block the target base station from receiving a connection request or handover request from a respective base station included on the list.

This application provides a communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: accessing, by an electronic device, a first network; performing network probing on the first network, where it is detected that the Internet cannot be accessed through the first network; and transmitting, in the first network and a second network, to-be-transmitted data through a network that matches the to-be-transmitted data, where the first network is different from the second network, and the electronic device can access the second network and maintain a connection to the first network. The Internet can be accessed through the second network. Even if the Internet cannot be accessed through the first network, the electronic device can still access the Internet through the second network, and is not disconnected from the first network, maintaining the capability of the first network to transmit data.
