PREAMBLE GROUP SELECTION IN RANDOM ACCESS OF WIRELESS NETWORKS
20230354413 · 2023-11-02 ·

A transport block size (TBS) of a first uplink message (RACH Msg3) transmitted on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) during a random access procedure in a User Equipment (UE) accessing a radio access network may be determined by receiving a pathloss threshold parameter. A downlink pathloss value indicative of radio link conditions between the UE and a base station (eNB) serving the UE is then determined. A smaller value of TBS is selected from a set of TBS values if the determined pathloss value is greater than an operating power level of the UE minus the pathloss threshold parameter. A larger value of TBS is selected if the pathloss value is less than the operating power level of the UE minus the pathloss threshold parameter and the TBS required to transmit the RACH Msg3 exceeds the smaller TBS value.

CONTROLLING TREE TOPOLOGY OVER MESH TOPOLOGY BASED ON AUTONOMOUS DECENTRALIZED CONTROL

A first wireless node transmits a control signal to be propagated to each of a plurality of wireless links linked up between a plurality of wireless nodes that forms a backhaul network. Each of second wireless nodes that is different from the first wireless node selects, for a transmission route of a data signal, a wireless link corresponding to one of different routes in an upstream direction toward the first wireless node among the linked up wireless links, based on an indicator indicative of a radio wave propagation quality of one or more wireless links through which a plurality of the control signals received from different routes are propagated.

Gateway link management between disjoint subnetworks in a CDMA MANET

Joining subnets in mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) environment. A method includes, based on SNR, power and data rate information between a first gateway node for a first subnet and a second gateway node for a second subnet, determining a rate at which the first and the second subnets can connect if nodes in the first subnet reduce signal transmit rate to a predetermined level. The method further includes as a result of determining that the determined rate meets or exceeds a predetermined threshold, then joining the first and second subnets by joining the first and second subnets via the first and second gateway nodes and causing nodes in the first subnet to reduce signal transmit rate to the predetermined level.

Closing open loops of wireless mesh networks

Apparatuses, methods, and systems for closing open loops of a wireless mesh network are disclosed. One method includes determining a representation of a wireless mesh network including nodes, and wireless links between the nodes, identifying end-site nodes of the wireless mesh network, determining open loops of the wireless mesh network that include the identified end-site nodes, generating a list of potential nodes for closing each of the open loops with the identified end-site node, testing one or more of the potential nodes, comprising testing performance of a wireless connection between each end-site node and the one or more potential nodes, wherein the performance includes a number of wireless hops around each closed loop formed including the end-site node and each potential node, selecting a closing node based on the testing, and providing a wireless link connection between one or more of the end-site nodes and the closing node.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE

Disclosed in the present invention are a wireless communication method and a wireless communication device. An electronic device in communication with a counterpart communication device comprises a processing circuit, the processing circuit being configured to: determine the state of a link between the electronic device and the counterpart communication device by means of measuring a link maintenance message transmitted by the counterpart communication device when a predetermined condition relative to the counterpart communication device is met, but not to transmit a feedback message for the link maintenance message, wherein the link maintenance message is used for confirming that the link is maintained between the electronic device and the counterpart communication device.

Radio frequency domain beamforming router

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which RF-domain wireless routers may repeat, extend, or redirect beamformed wireless signals received from one or more transmitters to one or more receivers. The router may receive transmissions at a mmW frequency using a first array of antenna elements, and provide the transmissions to a beamforming network, such as a Butler matrix, that outputs one or more a signals to a switching network. The switching network may perform switching to provide the one or more signals to desired inputs of an output beamforming network that outputs beamformed transmission beams via a second array of antenna elements.
