Method and apparatus for GPS enhanced neighbor aware network (NAN) cluster discovery
A method includes transmitting, at an electronic device in a neighbor aware network (NAN), a discovery beacon at a designated discovery beacon transmission time. The designated discovery beacon transmission time is determined based on an internal clock of the electronic device. The method further includes synchronizing the internal clock to a clock reference that is external to the electronic device.
Method and Apparatus for Controlling Power Consumption of Terminal, and Storage Medium
Described are a method and apparatus for controlling the power consumption of a terminal, and a storage medium. The method includes: recording the number of times a connection between a terminal and an auxiliary cell group fails, and where the number of times is greater than a preset threshold value, controlling, on the basis of a power consumption adjustment policy, the terminal to disable a dual-connection mode, wherein the terminal can support the dual-connection mode, and in the dual-connection mode, the terminal communicates with both a first base station and a second base station, the second base station being an auxiliary base station, and the auxiliary cell group being a group of serving cells associated with the auxiliary base station.
Downlink Control Channel Monitoring in New Radio Unlicensed Band
A wireless device receives radio resource control messages including a first bitmap, of frequency allocation of a search space (SS), with each bit indicating whether frequency resources of the SS are mapped to a respective resource block (RB) set of RB sets of a bandwidth part. Based on the first bitmap indicating that the SS is mapped to first RB sets of the RB sets, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is monitored via the SS in the first RB sets. A first downlink control information is received that includes a second bitmap, of RB set indication, with each bit indicating whether a respective RB set, of the RB sets, is available for downlink reception. Based on the first bitmap and based on the second bitmap indicating a second RB set of the first RB sets as being available for downlink reception, the PDCCH is monitored via the SS in the second RB set.
UPLINK TRANSMISSION CONTROL METHOD AND TERMINAL
An uplink transmission control method and a terminal are provided. The method includes: monitoring uplink cancellation signaling at a first moment; determining, according to the uplink cancellation signaling, whether to cancel corresponding uplink transmission, where an interval between the first moment and a second moment of sending the uplink transmission is greater than or equal to a preset time length, and the first moment is before the second moment.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR LOW POWER RECONNECTION
Disclosed herein are related to resuming a wireless communication between a first device and a second device. In one aspect, the first deice enters a wake up mode from a sleep mode. In one aspect, the first device obtains, in response to entering the wake up mode, stored information indicating a wireless channel previously used to communicate with a second device, to monitor for a beacon frame from the second device. In one aspect, the first device receives the beacon frame from the second device, according to the stored information. In one aspect, the first device transmits to the second device, an association frame in response to receiving the beacon frame.
ADAPTIVE TRANSMISSIONS OF WAKEUP RADIO SYNCHRONIZATION BEACONS
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for wireless communications are described. Stations operating within a system may have a primary radio and a wakeup or low-power radio. Access points (APs) may send indications receivable by the wakeup radio to alert a station of a pending data transmission for the station. APs may transmit synchronization beacons for wakeup radios of the stations, and the transmission timing for the synchronization beacons may be adapted based on operating conditions of one or more stations. For example, an AP may skip transmissions of a synchronization beacon or may adapt the frequency of synchronization beacon transmissions based on various operating conditions or factors. Stations may report certain information about operating conditions or capabilities that may be used to adapt synchronization beacon transmissions.
Delayed power saving mode for customer-premise equipment or customer-provided equipment (CPE) broadband devices
A method and system are disclosed for implementing a power saving mode for broadband devices. The method includes setting a delay to enter power saving mode on a broadband device, the delay to enter power saving mode configured to delay transition of the broadband device into a power saving mode for a set period of time when power is lost to the broadband device; and setting a delay to exit power saving mode on the broadband device, the delay to exit setting configured to delay transition of broadband device to a normal power mode for a set period of time after power is restored to the broadband device.
Communication apparatus and control method therefor
Provided is a communication apparatus including: a first communication portion configured to perform wireless communications with an external apparatus based on a Bluetooth Low Energy communication scheme; and a first determiner configured to determine whether an auto power-on function of powering on the communication apparatus under a predetermined condition even when the communication apparatus is in a powered-off state is set to be enabled, wherein, when the first determiner determines that the auto power-on function is set to be enabled, the first communication portion disconnects connection to the external apparatus, which has been established based on the Bluetooth Low Energy communication scheme, in response to a power-off instruction, and transmits advertising information that allows a response based on the Bluetooth Low Energy communication scheme to be received.
Bluetooth Connection Method And Television
Disclosed are a Bluetooth connection method and a television. The method may comprise: in response to a connection command for establishing a Bluetooth connection with a target Bluetooth device, determining a screen state of a display apparatus, wherein the screen state comprises a screen-on state or a screen-off state; if the screen state of the display apparatus is the screen-on state, establishing a Bluetooth connection with the target Bluetooth device; and if the screen state of the display apparatus is a screen-off state, forbidding the establishment of a Bluetooth connection with the target Bluetooth device. In the disclosure, a display apparatus establishes a connection with a Bluetooth device only when the screen state of the display apparatus is a screen-on state, thereby avoiding the situation where the display apparatus establishes a connection with the Bluetooth device when the display apparatus is in screen-off state.
SIDELINK DRX AND NETWORK-ASSISTED SIDELINK BEAM FAILURE DETECTION AND RECOVERY
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for network-assisted sidelink beam failure recovery. In certain aspects, a method performed by a base station may generally include receiving from a first UE a sidelink beam failure recovery (BFR) signal, indicating that a first communication link between the first UE and a second UE has failed; determining, based on the sidelink BFR signal, a set of resources for performing a sidelink beam failure recovery procedure to reestablish the first communication link between the first UE and the second UE; and transmitting information to the first UE and the second UE indicating the set of resources for performing the sidelink beam failure recovery procedure.
