Mesh networking using peer to peer messages for a hospitality entity
A method and system for communicating with wireless messaging enabled door locks is disclosed. The method includes advertising availability of the door lock via wireless messaging for a first period of time; triggering a message send event; determining a destination node; connecting to the destination node via Bluetooth; sending the message to the destination node; and entering a low power state for a second period of time, wherein the second period of time is longer than the first period of time; wherein the destination node is chosen from a second door lock or a computing system.
DUTY CYCLE CONFIGURATION FOR POWER SAVING
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described related to a duty cycle configuration for power saving. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a duty cycle for cycling between a first power state associated with a first configuration and a second power state associated with a second configuration. In some examples, the first and second configurations may indicate a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration, restricted reception or transmission of one or more channels within the BWP configuration, or both for the UE. The UE may communicate first data traffic in accordance with the first configuration while operating in the first power state. The UE may transition from the first power state to the second power state in accordance with the duty cycle. The UE may communicate second data traffic in accordance with the second configuration while operating in the second power state.
Method for reducing power consumption and device
Embodiments of this application disclose a method for reducing power consumption and a device, and relate to the field of mobile terminals, to further reduce power consumption of a terminal device when the terminal device enters a doze mode. A specific solution is as follows: After detecting that screen-off duration of the terminal device is greater than first duration, the terminal device sends a transmission control protocol reset packet to an application server of a to-be-controlled application, so that the application server disconnects a TCP connection to the terminal device. Therefore, after the terminal device enters the doze mode, the power consumption of the terminal device is further reduced. The embodiments of this application are used to reduce power consumption of the terminal device.

Methods and apparatus in a fifth-generation wireless communications network, including an example method, in a wireless device, that includes determining a reporting quality threshold for a parameter related to channel state information (CSI); performing a measurement for each of a plurality of beams from a first predetermined set of beams for evaluation; evaluating the measurement for each of the plurality of beams against the reporting quality threshold; discontinuing the performing and evaluating of measurements in response to determining that the reporting quality threshold is met for one of the beams, such that one or more beams in the first predetermined set of beams are not measured and evaluated; and reporting, to the wireless communications network, CSI for the one of the beams.
LOCATION UPDATE OPTIMIZATIONS FOR INTRA-PLMN MULTI-SIM UES
A MSIM UE may perform network operations for each network subscription. However, if the MSIM UE employs subscriptions for the same network, these operations may be performed redundantly. By notifying the network of multiple subscriptions at the UE and associating the multiple subscriptions at the network, the present invention provides power-saving at the UE and reduces network signaling overhead by optimizing communication for MSIM UE. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be configured to indicate to a network that the UE is associated with a plurality of network subscriptions, the plurality of network subscriptions including at least a first network subscription and a second network subscription, transmit location information using the first network subscription to the network, wherein the location information corresponds to a UE location, and receive data associated with the second subscription from the network.
RADIO ACCESS NODES AND TERMINAL DEVICES IN A COMMUNICATION NETWORK
According to an exemplary embodiment, there is provided a method of operating a terminal device. The method includes operating the terminal device in a connected state with respect to the communication network. The method further includes receiving a first signal from a first radio access node in the communication network indicating that the connected state is to be suspended, the first signal having information for use in determining a first key for encrypting data to be sent between the terminal device and the first radio access node or another radio access node in the communication network if the connected state is resumed.
SYSTEM, A POSITIONING DEVICE, A SLAVE ANCHOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND RELATED METHODS

The method is performed by a system having a master anchor electronic device, and a plurality of slave anchor electronic devices including a first slave anchor electronic device. The method includes broadcasting, from the master anchor electronic device, a first ultra-wide band (UWB) signal, at a first predetermined time. The method includes receiving, at the first slave anchor electronic device, the first UWB signal. The method includes determining, at the first slave anchor electronic device, a first transmission time based on the first UWB signal. The method includes broadcasting, from the first slave anchor electronic device, a second UWB signal at the first transmission time.
Data transmission method, data transmission apparatus, storage medium, and terminal for dual connection mode of non-standalone networking
A data transmission method, applied to a terminal that uses a dual connection mode of non-standalone networking for data transmission, includes: monitoring a network signal quality in the dual connection mode of non-standalone networking, and monitoring a real-time data packet transmission rate of a data packet transmitted and received by the terminal; and adjusting, based on the network signal quality and the real-time data packet transmission rate, the dual connection mode of non-standalone networking, which includes turning off the dual connection mode of non-standalone networking or maintaining the dual connection mode of non-standalone networking. Automatic and dynamic switching between EN-DC dual connection and single 4G network connection can be realized, without manually switching networks by users, such that effective transmission and reception of terminal data packets is ensured, and increase in power consumption caused by always relying on the EN-DC dual connection is avoid.
