Agricultural and horticultural covering film and method for producing the same
An agricultural and horticultural film that does not raise a temperature of an atmosphere such as a greenhouse by using the agricultural and horticultural film in the greenhouse, etc., while absorbing infrared rays from the sunlight and warming the soil, the film having an infrared absorbing layer containing infrared absorbing material ultrafine particles, wherein the infrared absorbing material ultrafine particles are composite tungsten oxide ultrafine particles, and the composite tungsten oxide ultrafine particles have a XRD peak top intensity ratio value of 0.13 or more based on an XRD peak intensity ratio value of 1 on plane of a silicon powder standard sample (640c produced by NIST).
Soil Biodegradable Blown Film Bag Formulation
A blown film of soil biodegradable aliphatic polyesters produced primarily from diacid and diol monomers. The diacid monomers may be of any type including succinic acid, adipic acid, and hexanedioic acid. The diol monomer may be of any type including ethylene glycol, propanediol, butanediol, and hexanediol. Commercial aliphatic polyesters produced from diacid and diol monomers include polybutylene succinate (PBS), polybutylene adipate succinate (PBAS), and polybutylene adipate (PBA). Comonomers may also be added. Such comonomers include chemicals with a single carboxylic acid, hydroxy, or amine moiety, which act as chain terminators, chemicals with three or more carboxylic acid, epoxy, and/or hydroxy moieties which, act as branching agents.
Agro- and geotextiles
The invention pertains to an agro- or geotextile (1), comprising: i) a carrier (2); and ii) an electric network (3) of one or more lighting units (4, 18), whereby said electric network (3) of one or more lighting units (4, 18) is provided on a surface of said carrier (2). The invention further pertains to a method for producing an agro- or geotextile (1) and to a use of an agro- or geotextile (1) according to the current invention.
Apparatus, systems and methods for dispensing and laying a sheet of film material
Methods, systems and apparatuses for applying a sheet of film material to the ground by utilizing first and second double disk openers to create first and second grooves in the ground and inserting the sheet into the grooves by use of a pair of press wheels which travel behind the disk openers and force the sheet into the grooves. Use of the disk openers accommodates a method of applying the sheet to planted seeds in non-tilled, frozen and/or near frozen soil conditions for increased crop yields.
BIODEGRADABLE FILM
This invention relates to a biodegradable film which is particularly suitable for the manufacture of packaging and is also characterised by high level mechanical properties.
SOIL-COVERING FILM, THE USE OF A SOIL-COVERING FILM TO PROTECT CROPS AGAINST WEEDS, AND A METHOD FOR THE PROTECTION OF CROPS AGAINST WEEDS
A soil-covering film (10), which contains an air and moisture-permeable sheet, preferably a nonwoven sheet, containing biodegradable and/or compostable fibre (12) and, optionally, binding material (14), where the binding force between the fibres reversibly weakens due to the effect of moisture.
A method for protecting crops (20) against weeds (30), by a soil-covering film (10): where the soil-covering film (10) is laid out on surface of the soil (40); the seeds (22) of the crop (20) are placed on the soil-covering film (10); the soil-covering film (10) is kept moist until the seeds (22) located on the surface grow roots (24) and the roots (24) penetrate the soil-covering film (10).
AGRICULTURAL FILM COMPRISING A COPOLYAMIDE OF A DIAMINE, A DIMER ACID AND A LACTAM
The present invention relates to an agricultural film (AF) comprising at least one copolyamide, wherein the copolyamide has been prepared by polymerizing at least one lactam and a monomer mixture (M). The present invention further relates to a process for producing the agricultural film (AF) and to the use of the agricultural film (AF) as mulch film, as silage film, as greenhouse film or as silo film.
MULTILAYER BIODEGRADABLE FILM
This invention relates to a multilayer biodegradable film which is particularly suitable for the manufacture of packaging and is also characterised by appreciable optical transparency properties in addition to high level mechanical properties.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SOIL MOISTURE STABILIZATION AND TREE OR PLANT PROTECTION
A tree or plant protection mat is provided, comprising: a top layer, having a first perimeter edge; a water-permeable bottom layer, having a second perimeter edge affixed either directly to the first perimeter edge, or indirectly to the first perimeter edge via an intervening sidewall; and a water-absorbing and releasing center layer disposed between the top and bottom layers, and comprising a section having superabsorbent particles and a section not having superabsorbent particles. Other mats and methods are provided.
ACTIVE POLYMER MATERIALS FOR GROWING MORE VIGOROUS, LARGER AND HEALTHIER CANNABIS PLANTS
The present invention provides compositions, kits and methods for growing more vigorous, larger and healthier cannabis plants, including from clone cuttings.
