Power headroom reporting with dual connectivity

Embodiments described herein relate generally to a communication between a user equipment (“UE”) and a plurality of evolved Node Bs (“eNBs”). A UE may be adapted to operate in a dual connected mode on respective wireless cells provided by first and second eNBs. The UE may be adapted to estimate respective power headroom (“PHR”) values associated with simultaneous operation on the first and second wireless cells. The UE may cause the first and second PHR estimates to be transmitted to both the first and second eNBs. The first and second eNBs may use these estimates to compute respective uplink transmission powers for the UE. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Systems and methods for locating and resolving inadvertent interference with a third-party communication device

A system includes a base station and a server. The server includes a communication interface, a memory, and an electronic processor communicatively connected to the memory. The communication interface is configured to communicate with one or more base stations including the base station. The electronic processor is configured to receive location information of a third-party communication device that has received interference, determine whether the third-party communication device is located within a threshold distance from the base station based on a first interference radius associated with the base station, and output one or more resolution options to resolve interference between the base station and the third-party communication device in response to determining that the third-party communication device is located within the threshold distance from the base station.

SRS ENHANCEMENTS FOR COHERENT JOINT TRANSMISSIONS
20230232340 · 2023-07-20 ·

Disclosed are systems and methods for enhancing sounding resource signal (SRS) communications. In some embodiments, power control parameters and/or spatial relation information is determined prior to transmissions of the SRS signal. The determination may include a dynamic determination or a selection of a power control parameter set from a plurality of power control parameter sets. In some embodiments, cross-SRS interference is reduced when multiple transmissions utilize a same resource by applying orthogonal cover codes (OCC) to the resources prior to transmission.

DEMODULATION REFERENCE SIGNALING WITH VARYING TRANSMIT POWER

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a first resource within a slot and a second resource within the slot. The UE may receive a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) based at least in part on the first resource, wherein the DMRS is associated with a first transmit power. The UE may receive an additional DMRS based at least in part on the second resource, wherein the additional DMRS is associated with a second transmit power different from the first transmit power. Numerous other aspects are described.

Sidelink power control method and terminal device

Methods and systems for interference management

Methods and systems for interference management are described. Methods and systems can be used for minimizing interference among communication and/or electronic devices. Interference data can be gathered/received from interference sources such as weather and natural patterns, various electronic devices, and one or more network protocols. The interference data can be used to generate interference patterns of each interference source in an interference map. The interference map can be used to determine how a particular interference pattern can affect a system. The interference map can also be used to evaluate a new source of interference (e.g., cordless phones, weather conditions) to determine how a system can be affected. The interference data can also be associated with an interference signature (e.g., an interference pattern, a fingerprint) for an interference source in a database. The database can be used based on the interference signature to identify known and/or unknown interference sources.

Adjusting reference signal reporting based on uplink channel conditions
11563611 · 2023-01-24 · ·

Methods and systems for adjusting reference signal reporting based on path loss and fading and cell edge conditions experienced by wireless devices in 5G EN-DC networks. As the path loss increases, a period between reference signal reports (or a frequency of reference signal reports) can be increased. This ensures continued quality of service for the wireless devices. Reference signals can include SRS, DMRS, PTRS, etc.
