Body weight measuring device and body weight measuring system
A body measuring device configured to determine size and shape of a body portion of a user. The body measuring device incorporates a measuring sensor for measuring a physical change amount based upon a change in electrical characteristics wherein the measuring sensor is characterized by including at least either a pressure-type measuring sensor for measuring a pressure applied from the body of the user or an expansion-type measuring sensor for measuring a degree of expansion of a base member caused by the body shape of the user. This body measuring device configuration determines size and shape without a user needing to undertake any self-measurements.
Foot Size Measurement Tool and Foot Size Measurement Tool Set
To provide a foot size measurement tool that enables easy measurement of a ball girth and an instep girth without winding a scale measuring section. A foot size measurement tool is made up of a first wearable element and a second wearable element. The first wearable element has a sock-shaped cover and scale mark indicators. The second wearable element has a cover, a ball girth measurement portion, and an instep girth measurement portion. Foot wears the foot size measurement tool, and a length between ends of a belt-like portion is measured by means of the scale mark indicator. A length between ends of a belt-like portion is measured by means of the scale mark indicator. The thus-measured values are added to the length of the belt-like portion and the length of the belt-like portion. Thus, a length of a ball girth and a length of an instep girth are measured.

APPARATUS, A SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF FOOT MEASUREMENT FOR SELECTING READY-MADE FOOTWEAR
The invention allows foot measurement for selecting ready-made footwear that provides accurate results efficiently, easily and with low costs, and which can be performed both at home and at stores. An apparatus (120) of foot measurement comprises a base plate (121) and a single circumference measurement loop (123). The base plate (121) is utilized in measuring the length (401) of a foot, and an elastic portion (123A) of the circumference measurement loop (123) is utilized in measuring the circumference (402) around the ball of the foot.
Articles of footwear and sole structures with pressure-mapped midsole topographies and inlaid outsoles
Presented are footwear sole structures with pressure-mapped midsole topographies and inlaid wear-mitigating outsoles, methods for making/using such sole structures, and footwear fabricated with such sole structures. An article of footwear includes an upper for receiving and attaching to a foot of a user, and a sole structure attached to the upper for supporting thereon the user's foot. The sole structure includes a midsole that is formed with a first material having a first hardness, and an outsole that is mounted to the midsole and formed with a second material that is harder than the first material. The midsole has a ground-facing surface with multiple cavities, multiple channels interspersed with the cavities, and ground-contacting land segments that separate the cavities from the channels. The outsole is disposed in the channels and positioned between the cavities such that a ground-contacting outsole surface is substantially flush with the midsole's ground-contacting land segments.

SYSTEMS FOR PRODUCING ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR HAVING CUSTOMIZED STABILITY
The disclosed systems provide ways to manufacture a style of an article of footwear in bulk, while providing customization for heel stability for individual customers. Moreover, the disclosed systems provide ways to customize articles of footwear for a customer on an ongoing basis, such that the heel stability of the articles of footwear is refined until a tailored fit is achieved for the same customer. Generally, the process may include providing a user/customer with an article of footwear, getting evaluation information about the stability of the article of footwear from a survey (e.g., asking the user to rate the stability of the article of footwear in a smartphone app), modifying the next article of footwear provided to the user/customer according to the evaluation information, and iterating through this process to give the user an article optimized for stability.

Optical Foot Sole Scanning Apparatus and Insole Production Apparatus Having Same, Method for Ascertaining a Three-Dimensional Shape of an Insole and Method for Automatically Producing an Insole
An optical foot sole scanning apparatus, comprising: a) an element that is substantially in the shape of a plate or a wedge in the unloaded state and is made of a resilient material, having a foot placement side facing a foot sole of a human foot to be scanned when in use and having a scanner side, wherein the resilient material is at least partially light-transmissive, b) an optical scanner that is arranged on the scanner side of the element and is configured to emit electromagnetic radiation through the element at least in part onto the foot placement side of the element when in use and to record data when in use, and c) an evaluation unit that is connected to the optical scanner and is set up to perform a reconstruction of the three-dimensional shape of the foot sole from the data recorded by the optical scanner, and an orthopedic foot sole scanning system having same, an insole production apparatus having same, a method for ascertaining a three-dimensional shape of an insole having same, and a method for automatically producing an insole having same.
METHOD FOR GENERATING FOOT SHAPE SPECIFICATION DATA, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SHOE, METHOD FOR SEARCHING READY-MADE SHOES, ASSISTANCE SYSTEM FOR CUSTOM SHOE MANUFACTURING, AND READY-MADE SHOE SEARCH SYSTEM
A method for generating foot shape specification data includes obtaining foot shape 3D data (FS3D) by measuring the three-dimensional shape of a bare foot (BF) of a subject (P) of measurement; generating a virtual insole (VIS) for measurement based on the obtained foot shape 3D data (FS3D); generating corrected foot shape 3D data (CFSD) by adding the data of the virtual insole (VIS) to a sole portion of the obtained foot shape 3D data; and obtaining foot shape specification data (FSSD) by measuring a predefined dimension of the corrected foot shape 3D data (CFSD) to determine a foot shape.
