ENHANCED CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION (CSI) COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
A system and method includes: sending a channel state information-reference signal CSI-RS to a second terminal device, where a frequency-domain bandwidth of the CSI-RS is the same as a frequency-domain bandwidth of a resource pool, the resource pool is a time-frequency resource set included in a sidelink SL bandwidth part BWP, the resource pool includes one or more consecutive sub-channels in frequency domain, one sub-channel in the resource pool includes one or more consecutive physical resource blocks PRBs, and the resource pool is determined based on a periodic bitmap in time domain. According to the method and apparatus in the embodiments of this application, a first terminal device can obtain channel state information CSI of each sub-channel in the resource pool, and allocate a resource based on the CSI of each sub-channel in the resource pool, improving a communication capacity in an SL scenario.
METHOD, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, AND NON-TRANSITORY TANGIBLE COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A method performed by a communication apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes calculating (400, 530) a generation interval and transmit power of a basic safety message used for Vehicle-to-Vehicle, V2V, safety communication, based on a channel busy ratio which is a ratio of time during which a channel is busy and on vehicle density within a predetermined range, and transmitting (500), based on the generation interval and the transmit power, the basic safety message over a PC5 reference point specified in a technical specification of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project, 3GPP.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Provided are a method and apparatus for wireless communication capable of meeting data transmission requirements. The method comprises: a first terminal determining, according to a first criterion, a target transmission power for a first physical sidelink channel; and the first terminal using the target transmission power to send the first physical sidelink channel to a second terminal.
Reciprocity-based transmission property adjustment in sidelink communications
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmission-adjusting wireless node may receive a transmission transmitted by a power-reporting wireless node via a sidelink channel. The transmission may include information relating to a transmit power of the transmission. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may determine a transmission-specific estimated path loss of the sidelink channel based at least in part on the transmit power of the transmission. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may adjust, based at least in part on the transmission-specific estimated path loss, a transmission property of the transmission-adjusting wireless node to obtain an adjusted transmission property. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may transmit a communication to the power-reporting wireless node using the adjusted transmission property. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Power allocation for sidelink feedback transmission
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for power allocation for sidelink feedback transmission. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) include receiving one or more data transmissions from one or more other UEs, generating a feedback signal for each of one or more data transmissions, determining a transmission power of the feedback signal for each of one or more data transmissions based on at least one configuration associated with the feedback signal, and transmitting the feedback signal to each of the one or more other UEs using the determined transmission power.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION POWER IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method and apparatus are provided. The method of configuring a sidelink transmission power by a V2X user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes receiving, from a base station (BS), first parameter for sidelink link quality or second parameter for downlink link quality, configuring, the transmission power for at least one of a sidelink control channel or a sidelink data channel based on sidelink pathloss or downlink pathloss according to the receiving of the first parameter or the second parameter, and transmitting, to a receiving V2X UE, the sidelink control channel or the sidelink data channel based on the configured transmission power.
Power Control for Sidelink Feedback
A first wireless device receives a configuration message indicating: a first power control parameter set for a first sidelink feedback type; and a second power control parameter set for a second sidelink feedback type. Based on the sidelink feedback type indication one of the first power control parameter set and the second power control parameter set is selected as a selected power control parameter set. A transmit power of a sidelink feedback signal is determined based on the selected power control parameter set. The sidelink feedback signal is transmitted to the second wireless device based on the transmit power.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO HANDLE MULTI-CARRIER OPERATION IN CASE OF CELLULAR SERVICE COMMUNICATION AND PROXIMITY SERVICE COMMUNICATION
A method and apparatus for power management in a cellular network for handling multi-carrier operation in case cellular communication services and proximity communication services occur simultaneously is proposed. A Power Headroom Report is sent by a User Equipment. The Power Headroom Report at least contains a power reduction measure reflecting a power reduction if the User Equipment performs proximity service communication.
D2D Interference Coordination Methods and Apparatuses, Base Station and User Equipment
Device-to-Device (D2D) interference coordination methods and apparatuses, a base station, and a User Equipment (UE) are provided. A base station acquires D2D transmission Tx power information (S302). The D2D transmission Tx power information is used for indicating Tx power of D2D transmission to be scheduled over a corresponding radio resource or indicating power information causing interference to D2D transmission over a corresponding radio resource. The base station conducts interference coordination processing according to the D2D transmission Tx power information (S304).
Device to-device (D2D) cross link power control
Device-to-device (D2D) cross link power control systems and methods may be disclosed. For example, a device such as a UE or WTRU may determine whether it may have simultaneous transmissions where at least one of the transmissions may include a cross link transmission. The device may further determine whether a total transmit power of the simultaneous transmissions may exceed a maximum transmit power of the device. If the device may have simultaneous transmissions and such transmissions may exceed the maximum transmit power, the device may reallocate power based on a priority or priority setting. The device may further determine a maximum cross link power, a maximum device power, and a cross link transmit power level such that the device may further control the power for transmissions based thereon.
