A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a device to perform sidelink transmission. The method includes the device being in RRC (Radio Resource Control)-connected mode in Uu link. The method also includes the device being configured to use at least DL (Downlink) pathloss for sidelink power control. The method further includes the device deriving a first DL pathloss value for determining an uplink transmit power of one specific kind of uplink transmission. In addition, the method includes the device determining or deriving a sidelink transmit power based on the first DL pathloss value. Furthermore, the method includes the device performing a sidelink transmission to other device(s) with the sidelink transmit power.
V2X COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
The technology of this application relates to a V2X communication method and an apparatus. The method includes a first network element obtains UE density information of a first area in which target UE is located, and the first network element sends first information to the target UE based on the UE density information, where the first information is used by the target UE to adjust transmit power of a PC5 interface. A wireless device receives one or more messages. The one or more messages comprise a sidelink priority for a sidelink transmission via a sidelink resource pool; a first priority threshold for the sidelink resource pool; and a second priority threshold for the sidelink resource pool. The sidelink transmission overlapping with a configured uplink transmission is transmitted based on comparing the sidelink priority with: the first priority threshold in response to the configured uplink transmission being a first priority class; and the second priority threshold in response to the configured uplink transmission being a second priority class.

The BT circuitry is configured to perform a handshake exchange with the wireless device to initiate the BT communication at the LPI signal power level.
