Mobile communications directed to assignment of radio resources and reporting pathloss of D2D communications
A mobile communication system supports cellular communication in which a data path passes through a core network and D2D communication that is direct device-to-device communication in which the data path does not pass through the core network. The system comprises a communication apparatus that assigns a radio resource to a D2D terminal that performs the D2D communication, wherein the communication apparatus performs assignment determination as to whether a dedicated radio resource not shared with the cellular communication is assigned to the D2D terminal or a shared radio resource shared with the cellular communication is assigned to the D2D terminal.
Dynamic clear channel assessment
A first device determines a maximum allowable interference, and transmits a packet including an indicator of the maximum allowable interference. The maximum allowable interference corresponds to an amount of interference that can be present at the first device without preventing proper reception, by the first device, of packets from a second device, or to an amount of interference that can be present at the first device without resulting in a reduction in a Modulation and Coding Scheme of communications between the first and second device. A secondary transmitting device receives an indication of a maximum allowable interference, determines a maximum transmission power according to the maximum allowable interference, and transmits packets during a NAV protection period at a transmission power less than or equal to the maximum transmission power, when the NAV protection period does not reserve the medium the secondary transmitting device.
Neighbor aware network cluster topology establishment based on proximity measurements
A method includes determining, at a first device of a neighbor aware network (NAN), a proximity of the first device to a second device of the NAN. The method further includes determining whether to change a NAN operating mode of the first device based on the proximity.
Method for transmitting sidelink signals through plurality of carriers in wireless communication system
Provided is a method for a terminal to transmit sidelink signals in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprising the steps of: determining transmission power of a sidelink packet in each of a plurality of carriers; and on the basis of the determined transmission power, transmitting the sidelink signals through one or more carriers of the plurality of the carriers, wherein the transmission power is determined on the basis of a priority of the sidelink packet scheduled for transmission on each of the plurality of carriers, a sum of the transmission power of the sidelink packet scheduled for transmission on each of the plurality of carriers, and maximum transmission power of the terminal. The UE is capable of communicating with at least one of another UE, a UE related to an autonomous driving vehicle, the BS or a network.

Exemplary embodiments provide a method and apparatus for controlling transmit power for a device-to-device (D2D) communication between user equipments (UEs), the method including: searching for a peer UE; determining transmit power of a D2D communication signal to be transmitted to the peer UE; and transmitting the D2D communication signal to the peer UE based on the determined transmit power.
Radio base station, radio communication network system, and communication control method
A short-distance radio communication in a steady situation and a long-distance radio communication in an unsteady situation are dynamically switched in a radio communication network, and a steady communication and an unsteady communication are realized through the same radio communication network without affecting the respective communication qualities. A radio communication network system includes radio terminals that enable a multihop communication, and a radio base station. The radio base station and the radio terminals communicate with each other by at least two kinds of transmission radio wave powers. The transmission radio wave power is variably controlled according to a measurement data value by sensors of the radio terminals, or a content of data received by a data communication. Also, respective transmission times of the radio terminals, the radio relay station, and the radio base station are determined, and the transmission times do not change even if the transmission radio wave power changes (refer to FIG. 1).
