MESSAGE RETRANSMISSION METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS
A message retransmission method and a related apparatus are disclosed. The message retransmission method includes: User equipment sends a message to a network device at a first power using a first spatial filter; and the user equipment retransmits the message to the network device using N second spatial filters, where a second power ramping counter corresponding to a transmit power of each of P second spatial filters is greater than a first power ramping counter corresponding to the first power, and the N second spatial filters include at least one spatial filter different from the first spatial filter. Both N and P are positive integers, and P≤N.
Random access channel (RACH) transmission with cross-band downlink/uplink (DL/UL) pairing
Wireless communications systems and methods related to performing random channel access are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates a random access configuration with a second wireless communication device in a first frequency spectrum. The random access configuration includes information associated with a channel characteristic difference between the first frequency spectrum and the second frequency spectrum. The first wireless communication device communicates a random access signal with the second wireless communication device in the second frequency spectrum based on the random access configuration. The first frequency spectrum is a millimeter wave (mmWav) frequency band. The second frequency spectrum is a non-mmWav frequency band.

2-step random access
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform 2-step random access procedures. The disclosure identifies features of 2-step random access procedures including configuration (e.g., under what circumstances to use 2-step vs. 4-step random access), message design, fallback procedures, power ramping, backoff, and retransmission procedures.
RANDOM ACCESS CHANNEL (RACH) PROCESS FOR INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL (IAB) NETWORKS
Performing random access process. In one aspect, there is a method performed by a network function. The method comprises the network function generating system information and the network function broadcasting the system information. The system information comprises i) first power information for use by at least a first set of communication devices and a second set of communication devices in determining a transmit power, and ii) second power information for use by the first set of communication devices, but not the second set of communication devices, in determining the transmit power.
Method for performing uplink transmission in wireless communication system, and apparatus therefor
The present specification relates to a method for performing uplink transmission in a wireless communication system. More particularly, a method performed by a terminal comprises the steps of: transmitting a PRACH preamble to a base station on the basis of a transmission unit indicating a physical layer resource set; receiving, from the base station, a random access response (RAR) including a TA value; and transmitting the uplink signal on the basis of the RAR, wherein transmission unit setting information about the transmission unit, set in the terminal, is transmitted through the PRACH preamble or the uplink signal to the base station.
POWER CONTROL TECHNIQUES FOR COOPERATIVE SENSING
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sensing signal of a radio frequency (RF) sensing procedure at a first transmit power. The UE may receive, from a base station at least in part in response to the first sensing signal, a power control message for sensing signals of the RF sensing procedure. The power control message may indicate a power control strategy for transmitting sensing signals of the RF sensing procedure. The UE may then transmit, at a second transmit power based on the received power control message, a second sensing signal of the RF sensing procedure.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE PERFORMING RANDOM ACCESS PROCEDURE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THEREOF
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include: at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: receive at least one message causing a random access (RA) procedure for a second cell based on a second radio access technology (RAT) different from a first RAT while being connected to a first cell based on the first RAT, identify, based on the reception of the at least one message, a first accumulative specific absorption rate (SAR) having occurred based on transmission of at least one RF signal based on the first RAT and/or the second RAT for a first time interval, transmit an RA preamble message to the second cell based on determining, based on the first accumulative SAR, that performing the RA procedure for the second cell based on the second RAT is possible, and refrain from transmitting the RA preamble message based on determining, based on the first accumulative SAR, that performing the RA procedure for the second cell based on the second RAT is impossible.
POWER CONTROL SCHEME FOR ACTIVE BANDWIDTH PART TRANSITION
Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, BS transmits first and second configurations for first and second BWPs to UE. The first BWP is set as an active BWP based on the first configuration. BS transmits TCP command(s) that set an active power control adjustment state. BS transitions the active BWP from the first BWP to the second BWP based on the second configuration. The active power control adjustment state is maintained after the active BWP transition (e.g., not reset to some default state).
Message transmissions based on power control parameters
A message transmission method and a device are used to accelerate a random access procedure. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a repetition quantity of an uplink message from a network device, in response to determining that a reference signal receive power (RSRP) range of the terminal device is within an RSRP range corresponding to a signal coverage enhancement level 0, wherein the uplink message comprises a third message of a sequence of messages comprised in a random access attempt; calculating, by the terminal device, transmit power based on a power control parameter for the repetition quantity; and sending, by the terminal device, the uplink message to the network device based on the calculated transmit power.
