Method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving signal for RACH procedure by UE in wireless communication system
A method of transmitting and receiving a signal for a random access channel (RACH) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes transmitting a message A including a physical random access channel (PRACH) and a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), and receiving a message B related to contention resolution in response to the message A. Transmission power for a retransmission of the message A is configured based on that a counter value related to the transmission power is incremented or maintained, the counter value is maintained based on that a transmission spatial filter related to the PRACH is changed for the retransmission of the message A, and the counter value is used for configuring the transmission power based on that the PRACH and the PUSCH are transmitted via the message A.
Efficient PRACH Transmission in a Fallback RACH Procedure
A user equipment (UE) is configured to initiate a two-step random access channel (RACH) procedure to synchronize with a base station, initiate a fallback four-step RACH procedure after the two-step RACH procedure, configure a random access preamble transmission for the four-step RACH procedure, wherein configuring the random access preamble transmission comprises deriving a physical random access channel (PRACH) transmit power parameter value based on a parameter used to perform a transmission during the two-step RACH procedure and transmit the random access preamble for the four-step RACH procedure to the base station.
Method for random access, user equipment and base station
The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5.sup.th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for RACH re-attempt, a user equipment and a base station. The method comprises the steps of: by a base station, determining system configuration information and transmitting the system configuration information to a user equipment; and then, by the user equipment, transmitting a preamble sequence to perform random access, and if the random access is failed, performing RACH attempt according to the received RACH re-attempt configuration information to perform random access until a preset decision condition is satisfied. The embodiment of the present invention is used for RACH re-attempt when random access fails.

Facilitating a transmission power dependent resource reservation protocol in advanced networks
Facilitating a transmission power dependent resource reservation protocol in advanced networks (e.g., 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a method can comprise defining, by a system comprising a memory and a processor, a resource reservation procedure that associates respective amounts of reserved resources available for the mobile device based on a transmission power level of the mobile device. The method also can comprise selecting, by the system, an amount of reserved resources from the respective amounts of reserved resources available based on the transmission power level of the mobile device.

Setting directional or non-directional antenna mode based on transmission power
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method, device and computer readable medium for transmission scheme. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the communication device may transmit an initial message to a further communication device via an antenna in an omnidirectional mode if the transmitting power can be achieved by the antenna in the omnidirectional mode. The communication device may transmit the initial message to the further communication device via the antenna in a directional mode if the transmitting power cannot be achieved by the antenna in the omnidirectional mode. In this way, latency for initializing the connection may be reduced and the successful connections are guaranteed at the same time.
