Antenna control system and method
A subscriber unit, including an antenna array and an antenna array interface coupled to the antenna array, is described. Wireless transmissions, at least two of which are based on different directional transmissions from a transmitter, are received at the antenna array. Feedback messages are generated using the antenna array interface. The feedback messages are communicated using the antenna array to adjust settings of the transmitter.

Mobile station apparatus, base station apparatus, radio communication method and integrated circuit
A mobile station apparatus configures a first group including at least one component carrier and a second group including at least one component carrier. The mobile station apparatus decodes a first physical downlink control channel on a first common search space in a first downlink component carrier and a second physical downlink control channel on a second common search space in a second downlink component carrier where first information transmitted on the first physical downlink control channel is applied to a first uplink component carrier within the first group, and where second information transmitted on the second physical downlink control channel is applied to a second uplink component carrier within the second group, and where the first downlink component carrier and the second downlink component carrier are indicated by a higher layer.
Method and apparatus for transceiving channel transmit power information in a wireless communication system
A method for receiving operating class information by a station (STA) from an access point (AP). A frame including a country element is received by the STA. The country element includes one or more operating/subband sequences having an operating triplet. The operating triplet includes an operating extension identifier field, an operating class field and a coverage class field. If a predetermined condition is met, the STA identifies that information on the country element is for two frequency segments having an equal width. The predetermined condition is that the received frame comprises two consecutive operating/subband sequences having first and second operating triplets. The first operating triplet indicates a specific behavior mode and the second operating triplet indicates a behavior mode other than the specific behavior mode. If the predetermined condition is not met, the STA identifies that the information on the country element is for one frequency segment.

TRANSMISSION OF SOUNDING REFERENCE SIGNALS IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS WITH CARRIER AGGREGATION
Methods and apparatus are provided for a base station to trigger transmissions of sounding reference signals (SRS) from one or multiple user equipments (UEs) on one or multiple cells and for a UE to determine a power, a time instance, and other parameters for SRS transmissions in response to the triggering. A SRS transmission can be on a cell where a UE is not configured to transmit data or control information.
Component carrier power control in multi-carrier wireless network
Techniques for adjusting transmit power of component carriers in a multi-carrier wireless communication system are disclosed. A base station may determine a plurality of associations relating to one or more component carriers configured for use by a user equipment. The user equipment may receive downlink control information from the base station including one or more power control commands and may adjust a transmit power of its component carriers based on the associations. The user equipment may be notified of the associations either implicitly or explicitly.

Methods and apparatuses for enabling power back-off indication in PHR in a telecommunications system
The exemplary embodiments describe a method for use in a user equipment, a method for use in a radio base station; a user equipment and a radio base station. According to the exemplary embodiments, the user equipment is configured to decide on application or not of a power reduction and to indicate it decision in a power headroom report intended for transmission to the radio base station. The radio base station is configured to receive the power headroom report and based on the indicated information in the received power headroom report, the base station in made aware of an additional or special power backoff (e.g. to fulfill SAR requirements) has been applied and thereby able to distinguish it from normal power backoff or power reduction.
Method and apparatus for assigning response channel resources
An apparatus and method are provided for allocating response channel resources by a Node B in a wireless communication system. The method includes determining a Downlink Assigning Indicator (DAI) value of a first Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) message scheduling a Secondary cell (Scell), if the Scell is scheduled in a non cross-carrier manner; and transmitting Acknowledgement (ACK)/Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) Resource Indicator (ARI) information in a Transmit Power Control (TPC) field included in the first PDCCH message, if the DAI value is equal to a first value.
