BANDWIDTH PART CONFIGURATION TECHNIQUES FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station and a user equipment (UE) may communicate in a wireless communications system. The base station may select a first bandwidth part from a plurality of bandwidth parts, the first bandwidth part having a bandwidth size corresponding to a traffic burst size for application data traffic within a time period. The UE may determine the bandwidth size using one or more parameters and indicate the bandwidth size to the base station. Additionally or alternatively, the base station may determine the bandwidth size using the one or more parameters. The base station may transmit, to the UE, a control signal indicating the first band-width part having the bandwidth size. The base station may schedule transmission of the application data traffic using the first bandwidth part and communicate the application data traffic with the UE using the first bandwidth part.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method and apparatus. A network device determines, based on first capability information, a bandwidth part supported by a first terminal device, and sends a first paging message on a target bandwidth part, where the bandwidth part is used to carry paging or another message. The target bandwidth part matches the bandwidth part supported by the first terminal device. Therefore, compared with attempting to send the first paging message by the network device on a plurality of bandwidth parts, sending the first paging message on the target bandwidth part can effectively reduce a quantity of times of unnecessary paging sending by the network device, so as to reduce a quantity of wasted paging resources. This can effectively reduce a quantity of times of unnecessary listening of the first terminal device, reduce energy consumption of the terminal device, and improve paging efficiency.

ACCESS POINT, STATION, AND INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD
An access point (AP), a station (STA), and an information transmission method are provided. The information transmission method includes configuring, by an access point (AP), an aggregated physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (A-PPDU) used for downlink transmission to a set of STAs, wherein the A-PPDU comprises a first PPDU and at least one second PPDU if a number of first symbols of the first PPDU is equal to a number of second symbols of the second PPDU and/or a first field of the first PPDU has a same symbol duration and/or a same guard interval (GI) duration as a second field of the second PPDU; and determining, by the AP, an uplink transmission from a STA of the set of STAs, wherein the uplink transmission is in response to the A-PPDU used for downlink transmission. This can aggregate different formats of PPDUs.

Method for Reporting Direct Current Carrier Location, Terminal Device, and Network Device
A method for direct-current (DC) carrier location reporting, a terminal device, and a network device are provided. The method includes the following. A terminal device determines at least one DC carrier location offset, where each of the at least one DC carrier location offset indicates a frequency offset for a DC carrier location used by the terminal device relative to a. reference DC carrier location. The terminal device reports the at least one DC carrier location offset to a network device.

POWER SAVING FOR SDT PROCEDURE
Provided is a method for a user equipment (UE). The UE generates a first information for the UE for transmission to a network device. The first information is associated with a small data transmission (SDT) procedure in an inactive state of the UE. The UE obtains a first configuration information from the network device. The first configuration information is determined with reference to the first information. The UE determines whether to perform the SDT procedure in the inactive state according to the first configuration information. The UE, in response to determining to perform the SDT procedure in the inactive state, performs the SDT procedure in the inactive state according to the first configuration information.

DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION OPERATION METHOD
The present specification proposes a discontinuous reception operation method characterized by: in a wireless communication system, a terminal in which a plurality of cells are configured performing a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring on-duration; receiving bandwidth part (BWP) setting information, wherein the BWP setting information informs a specific BWP; receiving a PDCCH on the basis of the PDCCH monitoring, wherein the PDCCH includes dormant indication information for a specific cell from among the plurality of cells of the terminal; and activating the specific BWP on the basis of the dormant indication information indicating non-dormancy.
