Dynamic spectrum sharing with spatial division multiplexing

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station to communicate with a set of user equipments (UEs) in a spatial division multiplexing (SDM) configuration for dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) communications. One or more first UEs of the set of UEs may communicate via a first radio access technology (RAT), and one or more second UEs may communicate via a second RAT in a multiple-user multiple-input multiple output (MU-MIMO) configuration. The base station may indicate the SDM configuration to one or more of the set of UEs. In some examples, the base station may transmit an indication to the set of UEs which may indicate a set of resources to be used for DSS communications. In some examples, the SDM configuration may specify one or more reference signal patterns for communicating in the set of resources.

REALLOCATION OF AVAILABLE POWER AMONG DEVICES IN A GROUP

The described technology is generally directed towards reallocating power to devices in a group, such as a rack of servers in a datacenter, when no power headroom remains available. Respective devices, which are classified into respective classes corresponding to respective priority device class levels, have power distributed thereto. Upon determining that available power headroom for power capacity distribution among the group of devices has reached an available power capacity distribution lower limit (e.g., zero), reallocation is performed by increasing power capacity allocated to a first device of a higher priority level class, and decreasing power capacity allocated to a second device of a lower priority level class. For more classes, such as high, medium and low, the power can be decreased among the lower priority level classes by a defined ratio, e.g., two-to-one between the medium and low priority classes.

AMPLITUDE CONTROL CAPABILITY INDICATION
20230028143 · 2023-01-26 ·

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, control signaling indicating a capability of the UE to apply an amplitude control procedure to one or more antenna elements for beamforming and indicating that the UE is applying the amplitude control procedure. The UE may receive a control message scheduling transmission of an uplink message. The UE may generate a signal including the uplink message using the amplitude control procedure, which may adjust one or more amplitudes of the signal. The UE may transmit the signal via the one or more antenna elements. In some cases, UE may indicate an amount of power loss in the signal based on the amplitude control procedure, and the base station may transmit downlink transmissions using a lower order modulation and coding scheme or an applied power boost to compensate for the power loss.

POWER CONTROL FOR REPEATED UPLINK TRANSMISSIONS

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be scheduled to send uplink data to a base station using a particular transmission length provided by the base station. The UE may send multiple repetitions of the uplink data to the base station using transmissions that have varying lengths. The UE may determine a transmit power based on the length provided by the base station and use that transmit power for transmitting the repetitions, regardless of the actual lengths of the repetitions.

INTERFERENCE DETECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND TERMINAL

An interference detection method and apparatus, a storage medium, and a terminal are provided. The method includes: receiving a signal; obtaining a power value of the signal as a first power; filtering the signal to obtain a filtered signal; obtaining a power value of the filtered signal as a second power; and determining whether a frequency channel where the signal is located is an interference frequency channel or a non-interference frequency channel based on a comparison result of a ratio of the first power to the second power and a preset threshold.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method, system, or devices for wireless communications may implement receiving a grant for a first transmission scheduled for a first set of resources, the first transmission associated with a first transmission parameter; receiving an indication to cancel the first transmission; dropping the first transmission based on receiving the indication; determining a second transmission parameter for a second transmission based on the first transmission parameter and irrespective of dropping the first transmission; and performing or receiving the second transmission according to the second transmission parameter. Alternatively, a device may receive an indication to cancel the second transmission; drop the second transmission based on receiving the indication; and refraining from rescheduling the first transmission on the first set of resources based on receiving the indication and irrespective of dropping the second transmission.
