TRANSMITTING A TB AFTER SUCCESSFUL LBT PROCEDURE

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for transmitting data using unlicensed spectrum. One apparatus includes a memory comprising instructions executable by a processor to cause the apparatus to receive a single DCI comprising a grant for multiple transmission occasions and to perform a first LBT procedure for transmission of a first TB associated with a first transmission occasion of the grant, where the first LBT procedure results in LBT failure and where the first TB is associated with a first HARQ process. The instructions are further executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to transmit the first TB during a second transmission occasion of the grant associated with a second HARQ process in response to the first LBT procedure resulting in LBT failure.

Random Access and Consistent LBT Failure Recovery

A base station transmits first random access parameters, associated with beam failure recovery, and second random access parameters. The base station may receive, in response to a beam failure on a primary cell and based on the first random access parameters, a first random access preamble on a first BWP of the primary cell. The base station may receive, based on the second random access parameters and for consistent LBT failure recovery, a second random access preamble on a second BWP of the primary cell. Receiving the second random access preamble may be in response to stopping of a first random access process and switching of an active BWP of the primary cell from the first BWP to a second BWP. The stopping and the switching may be based on consistent LBT failure for the primary cell.

A communication apparatus is provided, and the communication apparatus includes a control unit that performs control to: generate channel information relating to transmittable frequency channels of data, and bandwidth information relating to a bandwidth of a frequency to be used to transmit the data; transmit a request signal to another communication apparatus, by using a frequency channel that has been selected from the transmittable frequency channels, the request signal including the channel information and the bandwidth information that have been generated; and transmit the data to the other communication apparatus, by using frequency channels that have been selected as receivable frequency channels by the other communication apparatus. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a wireless LAN system.

TECHNIQUES FOR SCHEDULING CROSS-COMPONENT CARRIERS IN UNLICENSED BANDS

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive, from a base station, a broadcast message that indicates a plurality of occasions for a control resource set, wherein the plurality of occasions are associated with a plurality of component carriers that are associated with an unlicensed band; and monitor at least one of the plurality of occasions for the control resource set. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive, from a base station, a control message that indicates a plurality of occasions for at least one control resource set, wherein the plurality of occasions are associated with a plurality of component carriers that are associated with an unlicensed band; and monitor at least one of the plurality of occasions for the at least one control resource set. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Special Dual CTS Mode For Improvement In Collision Avoidance

Various techniques pertaining to a special dual clear-to-send (CTS) mode for improvement in collision avoidance in wireless communications are described. A first station (STA) transmits a request-to-send (RTS) and, in response, receives a first CTS from a second STA. The first STA waits to receive a second CTS from the second STA before transmitting data to the second STA responsive to the first CTS being of a first type and the second CTS being of a second type different from the first type. The first STA then transmits the data to the second STA upon passage of a waiting period.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CHANNEL OCCUPANCY INDICATION ON SIDELINK

Methods and apparatuses for channel occupancy indication on a sidelink (SL) in a wireless communication system. A method of operating user equipment (UE) includes receiving a SL control information (SCI) format over a sidelink channel; determining, from the SCI format, at least one of: time domain information for a channel occupancy, frequency domain information for the channel occupancy, and a SL channel access procedure. The method further includes performing the SL channel access procedure before a sidelink transmission; and transmitting, upon successfully performing the sidelink channel access procedure, the SL transmission over the SL channel within the channel occupancy based on the time domain information or the frequency domain information for the channel occupancy.
