A station of a multi-link device is disclosed. The station of the multi-link device comprises a transmission/reception unit and a processor. The multi-link device operates in a first link and a second link, which are non-simultaneous transmit and receive (STR) links in which simultaneous performance of reception by the multi-link device in any one link and the transmission by the multi-link device in another link is not supported. The processor determines that the transmission by another station of the multi-link device in the first link is performed, and if all of one or more predetermined conditions are not satisfied in the second link, the processor performs channel access according to channel access restrictions during the predetermined time from the time when the transmission by the other station in the first link is completed. The channel access restrictions determine whether a wireless medium is valid by using determination conditions.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sidelink communication. One example method generally comprises identifying, by a wireless device, a frequency of a sidelink operation being unlicensed spectrum. The wireless device may detect whether a synchronization signal is on one or more carriers overlapping with the frequency, and in response to the detection, determine whether to enable the sidelink operation in the frequency. The wireless device may send an indication of whether the sidelink operation is enabled based on the determination.

Prioritization of uplink transmissions on NR-U

In an aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for wireless communications for receiving, from a network entity, a configured grant associated with a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure; determining a transmission priority on the configured grant associated with the LBT procedure; and determining a logical channel based on the transmission priority on the configured grant, wherein determining the logical channel further comprises determining that a scheduled transmission includes one or more signaling data transmissions on the configured grant, the one or more signaling data transmissions corresponding to at least one of a signaling radio bearer 0 (SRB0), SRB1, and SRB3; adjusting a priority level for the one or more signaling data transmissions to a highest priority level corresponding to a higher channel access priority class; and transmitting, to the network entity, on the configured logical channel of the configured grant after successfully performing the LBT procedure.

A wireless communication terminal including a wireless transceiver and a controller is provided. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from an Access Point (AP). The controller is coupled to the wireless transceiver, and configures the wireless communication terminal to operate as a Station (STA) to associate with the AP in compliance with an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 standard. Also, the controller receives a beacon frame indicating to disable an UL MU operation from the AP via the wireless transceiver, and enables the STA to operate in a contention mode for UL transmission in response to receiving the beacon frame indicating to disable the UL MU operation.

Network node, wireless device and methods for handling interference

A network node (300), a wireless device (304) and methods therein, for handling interference in a wireless network where a Listen-Before-Talk, LBT, scheme is employed to control transmissions. The network node (300) determines whether a first wireless device (302) is compatible with a second wireless device (304) at a serving network node (300) so that uplink signals transmitted (3:1A, 3:2A) from the wireless devices (302, 304) are spatially separable at the serving network node (300). An LBT-related message is then transmitted (3:4A) to the first wireless device (302), which message indicates that the wireless devices (302, 304) are compatible or incompatible at the serving network node (300). The second wireless device (304) is then able to detect (3:4A), i.e. overhear, the LBT-related message and use it as a basis for deciding (3:5) whether to perform a transmission or not. The second wireless device (304) can thus decide to transmit when the compatibility information indicates that the wireless devices (302, 304) are compatible, or refrain from transmission when the compatibility information indicates that the wireless devices (302, 304) are incompatible.

Dwell time based channel contention in wireless communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a transmitting device using shared radio frequency spectrum may perform a listen before talk (LBT) procedure for at least a minimum dwell time and, upon successful completion of the LBT procedure, may occupy the spectrum for up to a duration of a channel occupancy time (COT). The transmitting device may discontinue transmitting during the COT for a gap period, and resume transmitting subsequent to the gap period without performing another LBT procedure. The minimum dwell time may be based on a periodicity of a channel reservation signal transmitted by one or more other devices using the shared radio frequency spectrum. In some cases, the transmitting device may schedule one or more receiving devices with resources for transmissions during the COT, and the receiving devices may perform a LBT that is non-adjacent with an associated transmission.
