Access Power Management with Multiple Transmission Reception Points

A wireless device receives configuration parameters, of a cell. The parameters indicates a first reference signal (RS) of a first transmission reception point (TRP) of the cell, a second RS of a second TRP of the cell, random access channel (RACH) resources of a RACH of the cell, and a power offset value for the first TRP. The wireless device adjusts a first received power value of the first RS by the power offset value. The wireless device transmits a preamble, via the RACH resources, to the first TRP in response to selecting the first RS for an RS. The wireless device transmits a preamble, via the RACH resources, to the second TRP in response to selecting the second RS for the RS.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RANDOM ACCESS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Disclosed are a method and device for random access in a wireless communication system. A method by which a terminal performs random access in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment disclosed herein comprises the steps of: receiving, from a network, configuration information related to a first preamble group for a first-type feature; transmitting a first message to the network on the basis of a preamble selected from the first preamble group; and transmitting, to the network, a second message including a logical channel identifier (LCID) associated with a second-type feature, wherein the terminal may support both the first-type feature and the second-type feature.

Method and apparatus for multiple concurrent random access procedures

Methods and apparatuses for multiple concurrent random access procedures. A method for operating a user equipment includes receiving first configuration for a random access (RA) procedure, initiating a first RA procedure on a cell based on the first configuration, and initiating a second RA procedure on the cell prior to completion of the first RA procedure. A method for a base station includes transmitting a first random access response (RAR) and a second RAR. The first RAR includes a first temporary cell radio network temporary identifier (TC-RNTI) and a first uplink grant. The second RAR includes a second TC-RNTI and a second uplink grant. The method further includes receiving a first PUSCH scheduled by the first uplink grant and a second PUSCH scheduled by the second uplink grant. The first PUSCH includes the first TC-RNTI. The second PUSCH includes only the first TC-RNTI or both the first and second TC-RNTIs.
