20220182926 · 2022-06-09 ·

Disclosed as a method of controlling access to a network in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, a method of performing access to a network by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system may include receiving first information on whether a specific access identity is valid in a specific public land mobile network (PLMN) from the network, when the UE selects a PLMN and attempts access, determining whether the specific access identity is valid in the PLMN selected by the UE based on the first information, selecting an access identity based on the determination, and performing an access control procedure based on the selected access identity.

Method and device for transmitting and receiving measurement report in wireless communication system using carrier aggregation technique

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method by which a base station receives a measurement report in a wireless communication system using a carrier integration technique comprises the steps of: generating a cell list for a second cell according to whether the second cell to be added from a first cell belongs to the same cell group as the first cell; transmitting, to a terminal, a measurement report command including configuration information related to the cell list; and receiving, from the terminal, a measurement report of the second cell on the basis of the configuration information, if the second cell belongs to the same cell group as the first cell.

Triggering of bitrate request for codec rate adaptation

A first user equipment (UE) device receives a configuration for a first timer from a base station that is serving the UE device. The first UE device also receives a recommended bitrate from the base station. The recommended bitrate is to be used for a Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) call or a Video over Long-Term Evolution (ViLTE) call between the first UE device and a second UE device. The first UE device activates the first timer in accordance with the configuration. The first UE device is prohibited from transmitting a bitrate query to the base station while the first timer is running. Upon receiving a recommended bitrate that is below a Guaranteed Bit Rate for the call between the first UE device and the second UE device, the first UE device stops the first timer and transmits a bitrate query to the base station.

Wireless communication method and terminal for determining a link quality for improving coverage and spectral efficiency

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a wireless communication method and terminal, and provide message processing methods in the process of non-link reconfiguration, which include: the terminal sends a first message to a network device when determining that link quality is poor enough to satisfy a first condition, the first message being used to indicate a first signal whose signal quality is good enough to satisfy a second condition; detects a second message in a first search space of a control resources set according to a first quasi-co-location QCL hypothesis determined based on the first signal, the second message being a response message sent by the network device for the first message; and stops detecting message from a network side in a second search space of the control resource set from a first moment; wherein the first moment is a moment when the first message is sent or thereafter.

Wireless communication network in wireless communication system

The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). According to various embodiments of the disclosure, a method for operating a base station in a wireless communication system includes receiving, from a terminal, information on a residence time of the terminal and a transmission time of an uplink frame, determining a radio access network residence time based on the transmission time of the uplink frame, and transmitting the radio access network residence time and the residence time of the terminal to a user plane function (UPF).

Method and apparatus for performing communication in wireless communication system

A terminal and an operating method thereof are provided in a wireless communication system. The method includes receiving, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message including an indicator regarding a full configuration procedure; when at least one data radio bearer (DRB) corresponding to a protocol data unit (PDU) session regarding the terminal is not included in a DRB add list included in the RRC message, identifying whether an indicator indicating a handover is included in the RRC message; and transmitting, to an upper layer, a message indicating release of a user plane resource regarding the PDU session, based on a result of the identifying.

Paging method, base station and user equipment

A paging method, a base station and a UE are provided. The paging method includes: receiving, by a UE in an inactive state, a paging message for determining a paging type, the paging message being transmitted from a base station, the paging type including an access network paging initiated by an access network or a core network paging initiated by a core network; determining, by the UE, the paging type corresponding to the paging message; and when the paging type corresponding to the paging message is the core network paging, updating, by the UE, each of states of a NAS and a RRC layer for the UE into an idle state, and responding to, by the UE, the paging message.

EFFICIENT AND RELIABLE DATA TRANSFER IN 5G SYSTEMS

Systems and methods provide solutions for reliable data transfer in a mobile communication network. A user equipment (UE) may indicate to the mobile communication network a capability of the UE to support a reliable data service protocol. The UE may process non-access stratum (NAS) messages, for both mobile originated (MO) data transfer and mobile terminated (MT) data transfer, using the reliable data service protocol to determine whether protocol data units (PDUs) of the NAS messages require no acknowledgement, require acknowledgment, or include an acknowledgement, and to detect and eliminate duplicate PDUs received at the UE in the NAS messages.

User equipment and network procedures for emergency broadcasting on Wi-Fi

This disclosure relates to transmitting an emergency message to a user equipment device (UE) over a wireless local area network (WLAN). The UE may establish a connection with an access point through WLAN. The UE may transmit, via the access point and to a network entity, an indication that the UE supports receiving emergency messaging through the WLAN. At least in part in response to communicating the indication, the UE may receive, from the network entity and via the access point, an emergency message and location information.
