PORTABLE HEATING DEVICE
An example portable heating device includes a container, one or more heating elements, an electronic device, one or more temperature sensors, a controller, a power supply, and a power supply controller. The one or more heating elements are in thermal contact with the container. The electronic device is configured to receive a user input selecting a target temperature to heat a substance in the container to and to display the target temperature. The controller is configured to cause the one or more heating elements to heat the substance to the target temperature in response to determining the current temperature of the substance measured by the one or more temperature sensors is less than the target temperature. The power supply is configured to provide power to the one or more heating elements, the electronic device, the one or more temperature sensors, and the controller.
Multi-Layer Mat
A multi-layer mat includes a multi-layer mat includes a protective layer and a comfort layer. The protective layer is composed of a first material and has a protective layer surface. The comfort layer is composed of a second material, is positioned on top of the protective layer, and has a comfort layer surface parallel to the protective layer surface. In a usage configuration, the multi-layer mat lies flat with the protective layer surface flush against a ground surface and with the comfort layer surface exposed for standing upon by a user. The protective layer is configured to protect the comfort layer from elements of the ground surface in the usage configuration via the first material. The multi-layer mat is configured for manual transition between the usage configuration and a storage configuration via the user, where the comfort layer surface is unexposed in the storage configuration.
Beverage Heater
A system having a beverage coaster with a receiving coil that can be magnetically coupled or decoupled from a driving coil in a counter, table, bar, and the like. The coaster may be magnetically coupled to the table by moving the coaster into an area where the driving coil generates a magnetic field of sufficient strength. The coaster also includes a switch that activated or deactivated based on its proximity to a magnet in the table. The coaster has a metallic plate on which may be positioned a beverage container. The plate is thermally and mechanically coupled to a Peltier cell or resistance heater that either cools or heats the plate, depending on the state of the switch. A second magnetic switch powers the driving coil only if the coaster is present and aligned with the driving coil.
HEATED MASK
A mask includes a support member that is configured to extend across at least a portion of a face of a user and a heater connected to the support member.
Hairbrush Heating Device
A hairbrush heating device operable to selectively heat a hairbrush placed there within is provided. The hairbrush heating device includes a hairbrush cavity, a sensor operable to output a signal indicating presence of a hairbrush within the hairbrush cavity, and a heating element configured to selectively provide heat to the hairbrush cavity based upon the signal from the sensor.
HAIRCARE APPLIANCE
A haircare appliance has a heat source configured to emit heat, a location determination module configured to determine a location of target hair, and a guide mechanism for use in guiding emitted heat from the heat source to the location of the target hair in response to an output of the location determination module.
DEVICE FOR HEATING FOOD PRESERVED IN PACKAGING UNITS AND FOR GROUP CATERING
A device for reheating food components refrigerated preserved in packaging is provided that includes a housing, a water tank for holding water and a lid for closing the water tank, an immersion basket with compartments for packaging units of refrigerated preserved food for insertion into the water tank, at least one electric heating element for heating the water, a pump for circulating the water, and a control unit. The control unit is configured, during a heating method, to regulate the power supply to the electric heating element such that the water temperature is maintained at a heating temperature of 80°-90° C. The uses of the device for reheating food components refrigerated preserved in packaging units is also provided. Refrigerated preserved food components are provided by a method in which the food components, after their hot preparation at a temperature of at least 75° C., are filled into packaging units, sealed and cooled in a water bath of less than 3° C. to a core temperature of less than 3° C.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE OF HEATER AND AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE PERFORMING SAME METHOD
An aerosol generator includes a heater for heating a cigarette accommodated in the aerosol generator, a battery for supplying electric power to the heater, and a controller configured to: control the electric power supplied to the heater to increase a temperature of the heater to a reference temperature or greater, the reference temperature being set to be suitable for generating aerosol from the cigarette, set a target temperature of the heater, control the electric power supplied to the heater based on the target temperature such that the temperature of the heater is maintained at the reference temperature, and adjust the target temperature to compensate for the temperature of the heater when the temperature of the heater decreases below the reference temperature.
Heated fishing pole
A heated fishing pole is provided. The device has a hollow elongated body including at least one hand grip, a first open end, and a second closed end, thereby defining an interior volume. At least one heating element in the interior volume is in thermal communication with the at least one hand grip. The heating element is powered by a power source which is in communication with the at least one heating element. A cap is removably securable to the first open end providing access to the interior volume. When the cap is secured to the first open end, a watertight seal is formed preventing water from getting into the interior volume. A control is disposed on an external surface of either the at least one hand grip or the cap, which can be used to select the amount of heat output from the heating element into the hand grip.
SELF CHARGING MUG
A self charging mug that is capable of charging or discharging an energy storage system thereof to charge a phone and heat or cool a liquid therein. The self charging mug includes an outer shell and an inner shell nested within the outer shell. The self charging mug also includes a thermal interface member in contact with the inner shell and a thermal electric plate engaged with the thermal interface member. The self charging mug further includes a component fixture assembly and an energy storage system arranged within the component fixture assembly. The self charging mug also includes a bidirectional power supply and a seal connector secured to the bidirectional power supply. The self charging mug also includes a battery management system in contact with the component fixture assembly and a charge and discharge controller arranged on a surface of the battery management system in order to control the charging and discharging of the battery according to the present invention.
