Damped closure assembly for a microwave oven
A damped closure assembly for a microwave oven includes a catch element mounted to a cabinet of the microwave oven. A striker defined on a door of the microwave oven engages the catch element which is rotatable between an open position and a closed position. A spring mechanism and a damping element are operably coupled to the catch element to slowly urge the catch element and the door toward the closed position to prevent slamming, loud noises, and potential wear on one or more components of the microwave oven when the door is closed.
MICROWAVE DOOR PUSH BUTTON ASSEMBLY
A push button assembly for a cooking appliance may include a button, a button base coupled to the button defining an interior, and a button support coupled to the button and disposed within the interior. The button support may include a boss defining a channel. A support pin may be rotatably coupled with the button support. A pin may be coupled with the button base and slidably received within the channel. The push button assembly may further include a lever having a first end and second end. The lever may define an aperture configured to receive the pin.
LATCH AND COOKING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A cooking apparatus includes an outer housing including a front panel and a back panel opposite to each other, the front panel including a back surface facing the back panel, an inner housing which is within the outer housing and in which a cooking room of the cooking apparatus is defined, a door which is rotatably coupled to the outer housing at the front panel of the outer housing, and opens and closes the cooking room, and a latch which is coupled to the outer housing at the back surface of the front panel and detects opening and closing of the door.
HEATING APPARATUS
A heating apparatus includes a heating circuit configured to heat a product to be heated; a door; a door lock mechanism configured to lock the door with the door closed; and a processor configured to control the heating circuit and the door lock mechanism, wherein based on an indication of a heating time period and a settling time period, the processor causes the door lock mechanism to lock the door, with the door closed, from a beginning of the heating until an end of the settling time period.
In-oven camera
Several embodiments include a cooking appliance. The cooking appliance can include one or more heating elements; a cooking chamber; and a camera attached to the interior of the chamber. In some embodiments, the cooking chamber prevents any visible light from escaping the chamber (e.g., the cooking chamber is windowless). In some embodiments, the heating elements are controlled by a computing device in the cooking appliance. In some embodiments, the output of the camera is used to adjust heating pattern of the heating elements.
Cooking apparatus
Disclosed herein is a cooking apparatus capable of accurately perceiving whether a door is closed. Disclosed herein is also a cooking apparatus capable of preventing a latch assembly of a main body from being pressurized by another object outside the cooking apparatus in a state in which a door is opened. The cooking apparatus includes a latch assembly disposed in a main body and configured to confine a key member of a door, wherein the latch assembly includes: a body including an interference hole therein; a first lever rotatably coupled to the body; a second lever configured to be rotatable in a first direction due to pressurization of the key member; a stopper connected to the second lever and configured to restrict rotation of the first lever as the stopper is inserted into the interference hole; and a sensor configured to be selectively pressurized by the first lever and sense whether the door is opened and closed to prevent malfunction of the cooking apparatus.
Cooking device
A cooking appliance with an improved structure to increase visibility to get a better look at the inside of a cooking room during cooking while blocking electromagnetic waves generated in the cooking room from leaking out. The cooking appliance includes a main body configured to have having a cooking room and a door arranged on the front of the main body to open or and close the cooking room. The door includes a door frame configured to have an opening formed to see into the cooking room and a conductive border portion around the opening; a shielding member arranged to cover the opening and having a conductive blocking layer configured to block electromagnetic waves; and a fixing member arranged to combine the door frame and the shielding member.
Microwave generator for a microwave device and microwave device
A microwave generator for a microwave device includes a single component carrier for control components and power components, which includes a continuous carrier material. Two power regions and one control region are provided on the component carrier. In the control region, electrically functional components are arranged on both flat sides of the component carrier, while in the power regions, electrically functional components with at least one power switch are arranged only on an upper flat side, heat sinks being arranged on the lower flat side. An RF substrate is provided in regions on the upper flat side of the power region.
Microwave Oven
The present disclosure relates to the field of kitchen appliances, and has disclosed a microwave oven, which comprises a cabinet and a door, a damper assembly is mounted on one side of the cabinet facing the door in a way that it produces damping force for preventing the door from closing when the door approaches to a closed position. In the present disclosure, a damper assembly is arranged on one side of the cabinet facing the door; thus, the damper assembly can effectively decrease the speed of collision of the door with the cabinet in the closing process when the door approaches to a closed position, and thereby greatly reduce the noise generated when the door is closed. In that way, not only the grade of the product is improved, but also the user experience and satisfaction is improved.
RETRACTABLE DOOR FOR AN OVEN
A cooking appliance includes a body having an interior to receive product to be cooked, the body having an opening via which the product can be moved relative to the interior; a pilot mounted within the body; and a door attached to the body to close the opening. The door includes a first latch mounted to the door and a second latch mounted to the door and independently reciprocable relative to the first latch between a first position and a second position, wherein the second latch is urged to move towards the second position such that, as the door is moved to close the opening, the second latch is received within the body and is deflected towards the first position by the pilot until a portion of the second latch clears the pilot and is urged to move towards the second position to come to rest behind the pilot.
