The plurality of LED elements may include a first LED element configured to emit light of a first color, and which is controlled by the first driving circuit, and a second LED element configured to emit light of a second color different from the first color, and which is controlled by the second driving circuit.

The control circuit may be able to adjust an average magnitude of the load current conducted through the light source so as to adjust an intensity of the light source towards a target intensity based on the operating parameters.
