According to one aspect, a control circuit for a tubular light emitting diode (TLED) lamp may include an input detection circuit that detects, from an input signal, a type of control desired based on a characteristic of the input signal and generate an output signal, a digital control circuit that controls operation according to a digital lighting protocol, and an analog control circuit that controls operation according to a voltage associated with the input signal. The digital control circuit may be enabled or disabled based on the output signal. The analog control circuit may be enabled or disabled based on the output signal.

The illuminating device comprises: an LED illuminating module; a mains supply operation module, comprising an LED driving unit; and a ballast operation module, comprising a simulation filament unit, a first detection unit, a second detection unit, a switch unit, a first start unit and a second start unit; wherein when the illuminating device is in a mains supply operation mode, the LED driving unit is used for driving the LED illuminating module; when the illuminating device is in a magnetic ballast operation mode, the first detection unit detects a voltage signal or frequency signal of the simulation filament unit and outputs a first detection signal, and after receiving the first detection signal, the first start unit enables the switch unit to be in a conducting state and drives the LED illuminating module; and when the illuminating device is in an electronic ballast operation mode, the second detection unit detects a voltage signal or frequency signal across both ends of the illuminating device and outputs a second detection signal, and after receiving the second detection signal, the second start unit enables the switch unit to be in a conducting state and drives the LED illuminating module.

The second wall defines a plurality of apertures each having a central axis arranged generally parallel in a linear arrangement. The apertures include: a pair of flanking apertures, the axis of each flanking aperture positioned 80-110 mm from one of the first end walls, and at least one interior aperture, the axis of each interior aperture positioned 135-145 mm from the axis of an adjacent aperture. Each of the plurality of apertures provides an opening through which an omni-directional LED bulb can extend parallel to the base to engage a socket mounted on the spine.
